I absolutely love the Bernat Baby Blanket Raspberry Kisses yarn! The colors are so soft and pretty in person, and the texture is incredibly plush and smooth. It’s very easy to crochet with especially if you’re a beginner who already knows the basics and is still building skill. The yarn glides nicely on the hook and works up quickly, which makes projects really satisfying to finish. I’ve really enjoyed working with it and would definitely buy it again.

This yarn is just fabulous! The colors are nice a bright and really blend nicely with any stitch you choose. The yarn is extremely soft and for every baby blanket I have made with this yarn, I have received so many compliments on how soft and loved these blankets are by their kiddos! I typically use two 300g skeins for my blankets and they are the perfect size for a stroller blanket. Will definitely keep buying more colors from this brand! NOTE/TIP: Wash your crocheted/knotted project by itself the first time or two because this yarn does shed. Always air dry to keep it fluffy and soft longer. The stitch I used for the baby blanket in my picture is the moss stitch (crochet-super easy and quick).

Bernat Baby Blanket Yarn has become my favorite for many different kinds of projects - from hats & scarves in the cooler months, to actual baby blankets as gifts, and large afghan blankets for home decor. I like to pick yarn colors that match or complement patchwork quilts that I collect and use on our beds and other furniture (sofas/loveseats). Then I crochet an afghan to go with the quilts. That makes a fun decor accent, plus the plushy warmth of a cozy blanket whenever you might need one. It's great to snuggle up with a project made from this yarn. It's soft and lofty. It washes beautifully, with the caveat to avoid heat when drying. Air drying or very light warmth only if you want the yarn to stay soft over time. Also, use minimal laundry detergent, as that can build up and make the yarn less soft than it should be. This particular colorway leans more to the soft green shades, and not so much on the blue tones. It's great for a baby design, or for home decor in the springtime color mode. It works up quickly. The label suggests an L size crochet hook. I tend to go with L for the foundation row, then move up to M or N for stitching the body. That way I don't have to remind myself to have a looser tension on the piece as I work.

Someone dear to me wanted a blanket, I saw this and needed more since Joann’s closed with no other craft store in sight. It’s soft, works up nicely when crocheting, it’s a thicker fluffier yarn so yes it’s bulky.

love the yarn , not the description , probably my own fault for not reading carefully enough . have ordered many of the two packs recently and thought thats what i was getting this time . if we are only receiving one ball show one ball .

This is the third time I purchase this yarn to make baby blankets. It’s perfect, soft and easy to maintain. This time however, there were a lot of knots in it, making it difficult and a bit annoying to work with. One of the yarn balls also had a dark stained streak in it. All in all a great product, but I was unlucky with the batch
