4 Pack Solar Spot Lights - Super Bright, 4 Sides Illuminants, 300° Angle, IP65 Waterproof, Outdoor Garden Landscape Lights (Cool White)

This may be a little long winded for a review because I have a lot to say about these lights so hang on, you'll be glad you did. I purchased the 2 pack of these 47 LED Solar Lights to try them out. These are advertised as "spot" lights but they're not what I'd call a "spot" light, they distribute the light from the 47 LEDs over a broad area, which is exactly what I wanted. A "spot" light would be a much smaller beam focused on a small single point, you know, the kind that lights up a small circle on your wall. These 47 LED lights are absolutely great for an outdoor light for your home as they distribute the light across a much wider area without a small round "spot" of light on the wall. I've seen and tried other lights that have one or two LEDs shining thru a magnifying lens that are simply ridiculous for a home. Those are the type that put one small circle of light on the wall of your home leaving the rest dark and as ridiculous looking as if you have a few small flashlights shining on your wall. THESE 47 LED lights put out a wide beam that illuminates a LARGE area of your wall and if you add enough of them they'll light up the entire front of your home. I purchased the 2 pack to try out and I think I'll need to add about 4 more to the front of my home to get it where I want it to be. Total 6 of these 47 LED Solar lights to WELL light up the front of a two story Colonial. I have steps to my front door and before installing the 2 pack I would leave the front light on at night to make sure anyone approaching my front door could see to navigate the steps. With the addition of only the 2 pack 47 LED lights, I no longer have to leave the front light on as they provide plenty of light to navigate the steps. The 2 pack already lights the front of my home, the extra 4 will be added for looks more than anything else as they'll add more brightness.What type of battery do they have and how long do they light at night? These use an 18650 Lithium ion battery. I'm not certain if it's a LiFe04 or a regular lithium ion? The 18650 cell has a plain blue wrapper with no branding. They last around 5 hours thru the night and cut off around 1 AM. I plan to modify mine by adding another 18650 cell if there's enough room inside the enclosure for 2 cells. This option will require some DIY and soldering, it may not be for everyone but I'm going to see if I can get mine to light the front of my home thru the entire night with a little work. 47 LEDs is a lot to ask of a single 18650 battery, adding a 2nd battery or a larger battery will add more use time and should increase battery life as well. Are they worth the cost? I think so. Of all the Solar lights I've seen and all the Solar lights I've tried for lighting the front of a home these are great. I don't know if they'll last long enough to pay for themselves in energy cost savings from not having to use my front light at night, but I guess we'll find out. One thing is for certain, if I installed regular outdoor lighting that is not Solar based, I'd save nothing in the long run. I'm ordering a couple more of the 2 packs NOW. Hope this review helps someone.

These lights are BRIGHT! My backyard is a decent size roughly 100' x 80' and with 8 of these lights (on the lower setting) it is practically daytime all night long! In full sun they come on around 8:00-9:00 PM and last all the way until the next day when the sun comes out and in that time they have very minimal "dimmage".I did have an issue with one of the batteries going out, but the company was quick to respond and offered a replacement! I've had multiple sets of lights in the front yard and backyard installed for 1-4 months now and I am not noticing an issue in any of the other lights. They are as bright as the day I purchased them!

I really love the HNES Solar Lights. I initially bought 2 sets of the lights during the winter months, but waited until the time switched back to install the lights in order for extended daylight charging. I am super thrilled with the brightness of the lights and how they reflect against the house. The front of my house is completely lit up. The side lights add extra light for the walkway. I am also impressed with the length of time the stay lit. They come on around dusk, and were still shining bright at 2am! I love the lights so much that I ordered another set for my backyard walkway and patio. I totally recommend this product!

Works as shown, very bright, they last all night in the summer but not in the winter

I ordered these to use in our front flower beds, just to project some extra light on the palm trees. The ability to adjust the angle is great for uplighting, which is just what I was looking for. The lights are bright enough to provide the desired effect, but not so bright that they shine in the windows they’re also facing.They power up relatively quickly. I set up in the morning and they were lighting up the same evening. And are as simple as popping on the stake, pressing the button, and firmly sticking in the ground.Considering ordering additional solar lights to up-light a few other small trees in the back yard - once the leaves come back - and will likely reorder this same set.

Super simple to install, warm white light is as warm and bright as I was hoping for. I have had these HNES 4 Pack Super Bright Solar Spot Outdoor Lights for over a month, rain or shine, without a single issue. The best part that even when they stand in a relative shade most of the day, they still shine though the night. I didn't try the motion detection mode yet (first of all I didn't think these have it, and I don't really need that), but now I will definitely check that out too. The equivalent seem to cost quite a bit more per unit in places that I looked, these lights are definitely a great product, specially for this price!

If you are looking to light something up, you will need to place is inches away from the object. Otherwise, it does not cast light very far.

I wanted lights for my camper where I didn't have to use a light bulb and didn't have to remember to turn them off. This was the perfect solution. I wedged the spike betwwen the awning and the camper. It soaks up sun all day and shines brightly all night, making it easy to see the steps up to my camper door. Just the level of safety I was looking for.My one small complaint is the on/off switch. Because it's a push button, there's no way to know if it's actually on (holding my hand over the solar panel as recommended did not work for me). It would be much easier if this were a slide or rocker switch so it's very clear if it's on or off. That said-I'm still very happy with the product.
