USB C to HDMI Adapter USB C 4K Multiport Adapter for MacBook Pro, Samsung Galaxy S9/S9 Plus, Chromebook Pixel and More USB C Devices

Really happy I bought this! I wish I found out about this product before I bought Apple's multi av adapter. Not only was the Apple version more expensive but I kept having issues with it when I had all three ports in use at the same time. I'm using this product right now with all three ports in use and it is working out very well. I'm currently using it on a 2017 Macbook Pro with touchbar and I have power plugged into the USB-C input, a dell monitor plugged into the hdmi input and a usb drive in the USB-A input.

I just got this 20 minutes ago or so I plugged it in it looked like it was going to work and it didn't I tried 5 different ways to do it tried different cables try different settings tried two different TVs one smart TV One non-smart and it did not work plus it's cheaply made as soon as I found out I couldn't use it to what I needed it for I put it right back in its package and already asked for a return since it does not do what it needed to do I will plug it in in the screen will go black on my phone something would light up on the TV for a second and then go away completely then when I tried it on the other TV it looked like it was going to work more but it wouldn't allow me to actually use my phone while on the screen at all so cheaply made and doesn't work try to use this for my Galaxy S8 so I could use my USB HDMI and charge it at the same time it didn't even charge my phone what a waste usually I wouldn't say such negative things towards our product maybe some other devices that work well with but when it came to mine not at all unfortunately

The HDMI port works great so far but to charge the phone while watching a movie or anything it doesn't work will not charge phone it says another device is being used and logs off and it does get hot but I still get to watch a movie with no other problem at least.

Wanted to be able to bring downloaded movies and Netflix shows on my cell phone and be able to view on a TV. This device does the job really well. All you do is plug the device into the phone and then connect to a TV via an HDM cable (not provided). Fast and simple with nothing else needed (other than the HDMI cable). You can even charge the phone at the same time. It was exactly what I wanted and works just as I need it to! Highly recommend.

product works great, functionality is good for now.I kind of wish it was a little bit smaller but other than that no complaints

On my setup with a MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports, TouchBar) and an amazon basics HDMI cable, the monitor will randomly flicker off and the pass-through charging will stop working. Other USB C to HDMI adapters work fine. The USB C connection to the laptop is also very loose. I would recommend spending a few dollars more for something else.

Got a tablet or phone with a USB C adaptor that you want to use for video output? Well keep in mind that if you want to project video for an extended time, you'll also need power ... and power comes through that same single USB C port. This adaptor will allow you to input power while outputting a video signal. Great for presentations or trade shows where you'll have a booth.

This product did not work at all to add an HDMI slot to the laptop. The USB port on the adapter worked fine, but the laptop would not recognize the HDMI slot. Everything just says no signal detected. The seller even sent us a second unit and it still didn't work. I believe they were just stalling so we couldn't return the product to amazon for a refund as the second item took weeks to ship to us. Very disappointed, do not buy! Now I have two of these. And yes, my laptop is USB 3.1 Type C compatible.
