This is the second tiny “capsule lipstick” set I’ve gotten, the first being the Derol Little Monster lipsticks which looked more like pills. I was worried based on some of the reviews that I would not be sent the correct items, but was relieved when the mini lipsticks arrived as requested. Between those and this set, I prefer this one by far.They come in a cute plastic heart that looks like a Christmas ornament, making these the perfect thing to get someone as a small holiday gift. I love the star shaped containers, which are sligtly more easy to open than the pill shaped ones without gouging the tiny lipsticks, although you’ll still need to use caution when removing the tops. The colors of the containers do not really reflect the colors of the lipsticks inside. While the red one is a crimson shade, the brown one is more of a pink, so you’ll need to get used to remembering which is which. I do really like the color combination. There are some very cool tones and very warm ones, including a pretty unique orange shade. They are distinct enough that you get some variety and will probably like at least half of the colors, regardless of your preferences.The actual lipstick formula is really creamy and soft, and has some good staying power. It’s a solid formula, although it definitely smudges and comes off when you’re eating or drinking. They are tiny, but the ad clearly depicts them as so, and even accurately lists the height of each one as 2.9 cm. So if you’re disappointed by how small they are, it’s probably because you didn’t look at the product photos carefully enough. As someone who loves functional miniatures, I adore how tiny and cute these are. I rarely wear lipstick enough to go through a full size tube, so these will be perfect to use on special occasions.

I got this a while back. Expected what was shown, which was star shaped lip stick capsules. I got a set of 3 liquid matte lipstick it appeared, and 3 lip liners. Not even remotely close to what was pictured. I do not recommend. This is obviously a common occurrence based on other reviews I have seen.

I'm so disappointed at how tiny this set of SWETIYOU 8 Colors Mini Matte Lipstick Set, Cute Capsule Waterproof Lipstick Long Lasting Mini Capsules Lipstick Velvet Matte Lipstick Set. I understand many, but not this tiny. It is a set of eight for $12, or $1.50 each. Honestly, the colors okay, but each stick doesn't even equal a dollar item, being so small.
