Is this build-in pump air mattress prone to punctures? My dogs like to bite everything in my house and my cats also like scratching.

Received the airbed put why does it not have a valve for manual pump like in the picture?

Many buyers told us that the hand pump valve was leaking. We made improvements to this feedback and removed the hand pump valve. So the latest goods do not have manual pump valves, but there are still a small number of manual pump valves

Does this auto inflate and deflate without the need to stop it manually? Or do I have to wait to inflate to desired firmness and stop on my own?

It needs to be stopped manually. The product is set to automatically stop inflation after two minutes
