While initially skeptical about these, I gotta say: they work great. They maintain the pool temperature incredibly well. Only "con" is that you do need think about storage while you are in the pool. They cannot lay on the lawn or stack on one another. This is my first year with them, I'll be interested to see how many seasons they last.

Absolutely love these rings. The heated the water up really fast. I ordered 20 of these rings for my dads pool in San Diego. His heater doesn’t work and I don’t swim in water that is even slightly cool. Because of the water crisis we ordered a lot of rings to help curb evaporation. They were delivered on Monday afternoon. By Tuesday afternoon we had the rings blown up. Starting pool temp Tuesday was 74. By Friday afternoon the pool was a balmy 87 and felt wonderful. It’s too soon to say how this will effect evaporation.

These solar rings are amazing! They do a great job with heating our pool. We put them on and immediately felt the temperature change the following day. They are much more easy to work with than the usual solar blanket sheets that we purchased over the past few years. When not in the pool they stack easily in the shade of our patio and can be put in the pool again at the end of the day to help keep the heat in overnight. We have already suggested this product to another friend of ours who has a pool.

Don't bother. Get proper solar heating.
