Worked perfectly and easy to install!

The LNB KU Band was great quality, well made with a built-in level for ensuring the right setting is accurate. However, I needed to check the exact type needed, it was good for Freesat, just not the 4K type, seen as the type for Wideband, I need to return it and get the slightly more expensive one.

This is a great piece of kit for a very reasonable price. I cancelled my Sky subscription and wanted to use the free channels on my Samsung Smart TV. The existing LNB didn’t work so upon investigation I found I needed a twin LNB to receive HD TV Freesat. The unit comes with markings on to align with the correct satellite and instructions on how to do this. There’s also a built in spirit level. However, I found that by being careful I could just remove the old LNB and slot this in. I then used the auto tune feature on my TV and picked up hundreds of channels. Very pleased with my purchase.

Bought to replace Sky Q wideband LNB (cancelled Sky Q and decided to refit Sky+ HD box to receive fta broadcasts). Fitted in 2 minutes and worked perfectly with no adjustment required - surprised the hell out of me, my luck is never that good, but it was in this instance. Fast delivery, came with clear instructions. Highly recommended.

Purchased a 2nd hand Freesat box (an older Humax FOXSAT-HDR but it was as new and does what I need) and assumed I could just connect it up to my Sky dish. Turns out that is not the case if the dish was for Sky Q (Different type of LNB). After a bit of research I found this one. This one works a treat and is easy enough to install assuming you have tall enough ladders (and don't mind heights). Most difficult part of the installation (apart from needing to buy some ladders tall enough for me to be able to reach the dish) was removing the plastic retaining clip from the original Sky Q LNB. Once that was removed the swap over was easy and only took a couple of minutes. My advice, make sure you take up an 11mm spanner (to undo the LNB connectors) and some long nose pliers to get the old plastic retaining clip off. As soon as this was swapped over and the Freesat box was re-connected (ensure you disconnect the box before swapping over LNB's) it picked up loads of Freesat channels fine with no issue. Just be careful when installing and make sure its level (it has a built in spirit level) and its at the correct 'skew' angle (that was already preset on the one I bought for the UK). Very happy and loads of Freesat channels, and no expensive TV package subscription.

This product bought to replace one that Sky fitted decades ago. I am not a Sky engineer but fitting this new part to my dish took about 15 minutes and that included getting my ladders out of the garage. Perfect picture immediately as the lnb had already been set up for my area. Would strongly recommend.
