Very compact and warm, taller backpackers should search elsewhere.
I'm 5'11" and was unable to cinch the hood over my head. It's important to note the bag is 210 cm (about 82"), but I had to obtain this info from another seller's website. If you don't intend to use the hood, the bag will probably be fine for you, but being unable to cinch the hood defeats the purpose of the stellar temperature rating, so taller backpackers should look elsewhere. A "standard" length of 220 cm should fit people up to 6' tall, so try looking for something a bit larger if needed. That being said, before I sent it back, I tested loading it into the sleeping bag compartment of the Teton Scout 3400 backpack, and it loaded fairly easily. It's a very compact bag which will probably meet the temperature, packing, and weight needs of many shorter backpackers.

Excellent Customer Service
**Update-I contacted the company and provided pictures of the damaged bag. They responded very quickly, and they are sending a new one. Very courteous! Happy with the results, we love the sleeping bag itself.**I bought 2 ‘Active Era Mummy Sleeping Bag w/Compression Sack’. Going on a Iceland trip soon. I almost threw them in the suitcase, then thought I better check just to make sure. Fortunately I have enough time to get a replacement. One of the sleeping bags was perfect, exactly as described-cant wait to use it. The second one, not so perfect. Broken outside zipper, broken buckle clasp on the compression sack and the comp. sack had a ripped seam. Also, the zipper took the strength of Samson to unzip. The unbroken bag, is really nice, I love the drawstring pocket around the neck area, to keep in the warmth. It literally has everything we need and at a great price! I will update this review with how the seller’s customer service is.

I used this before a trip where it was in the 30-40s at night and was nice and toasty
I didn't want to spend big bucks on a bag since I don't go camping all that much. I used this before a trip where it was in the 30-40s at night and was nice and toasty. I'm definitely someone who gets cold easily, so it was perfect. I'm 5'6" and didn't have any issues with the tapering towards the feet, but could see how a notably taller person might want to spread their legs a bit more. It was also pretty easy to get back in the compression bag.

Zipper broke, seam ripped on first use
Opened the box, unwrapped the bag, unzipped the zipper. When zipping up for the first time, the zipper pull broke off. First attempt tightening the hood and the seam ripped open. This sleeping bag hasn’t even been used and it’s ripped and broken. I’m left wondering if it will be torn to shreds after one use. This is a regretful purchase. My daughter leaves for camp in the morning and there’s no time to get a replacement. Due to the poor quality, I can’t recomend this item.

Fits a little snug if you are on the hefty side
Keep in mind that I have yet to field test this, but I wanted to make a quick note of something I noticed off the bat.I'm 5'10" and 240lbs. I fit lengthwise in this, but it is super snug around my body. I can fully zip this and keep my arms outside of the bag and it is fine. If I want to keep my arms in the bag its pretty tight. Also it would slightly unzip itself if I did keep my arms in it after fully zipping up, and let in a draft. One feature I like about this, is that it zippers all the way down to the toe box, so I can use this as a quilt style type of bag in a way, so being snug will not be an issue when the weather is more pleasant out. This was actually very comfortable for me when it was above 45-50 degrees at night. My issues with the bag came when it started to get around 40 degrees and below at night. This bag is advertised for 3-4 seasons, with a comfort rating of 30-50 degrees. I was not getting that range at all. Especially because of just how tight it was for me.The other issue I had is that I'm more of a side sleeper (figured this out the hard way on the trail lol). That mistake is more on me, but it was just something I didn't know going into the field. This bag was way too restricting to me for maneuvering around at night. This might just be mummy bags in general that I don't like but this one did feel a little bit more restricting than I imagined it should feel like.I think I would have gotten much better sleep in this if I was a much smaller person. However I'm wary of just how well this would perform under colder weather conditions even if I did have a smaller frame.

THINKING YOU GOT A GOOD DEAL ON IT
I bought this sleeping bag for light use such as when visiting a relatives house or traveling. I have only used this bag a few times. The zipper separated on the sleeping bag, the carrying sling used to hold the sleeping bag in when traveling ripped for no apparent reason, the cord that's used to tighten up the hood of the sleeping bag ripped and fell out, and the velcro that holds the hood in place is starting to come off. Thank god I was not out in the wild on a camping trip or else I would be screwed. DO NOT BUY THIS TRASHY SLEEPING BAG, THINKING YOU GOT A GOOD DEAL ON IT. IN REALITY, YOU ARE THROWING YOUR MONEY OUT THE WINDOW ON THIS POORLY MADE BAG!!!!!

Great product.... but customer service so much better!
The sleeping bag does exactly what it should but the main reason for my review is the fantastic customer service I had from this companyAfter buying it on my first Camping trip with this sleeping bag the zipper snagged. It became jammed. Rather than write anything negative (give companies a chance!) I contacted them.Without even any hesitation they sent me a new one which arrived today. 5 star service from a small company. You wouldn't get this from a similar company producing £100+ similar products!

Broken zipper
Really disappointed that this got delivered already in a broken state. Someone must have packed the bag knowing it was already broken as the zipper was rolled up in the bag. Returning this bag straight back.

Great value. Very happy with purchase
Bought this for a D of E expedition for one of my twins. Twin 1 had my old expensive sleeping bag and twin 2 had this. Twin 1 was cold overnight and twin 2 wasn't! That's a pretty good micro survey in controlled conditions. This one didn't fold up as small and was heavier but still a great buy for the price. Longer than my other bag too. It was around 9 degrees overnight so is fine for camping in the warmer months.

Snug
I bought this for my son for an overnight trip. The temperature dropped to -2, and this retained heat very well. He is 5ft 11, and this was long enough to work, but he is overweight, and struggled to zip it up the whole way. This is probably aimed at the fitter end of the market, for which it would be perfect. The zip worked well, and never got caught, and it rolled easily back up to go back in the bag.
