Semi-Permanent Dog Hair Dye, Food-Grade Pigment Dog Dye, Non-Toxic Pet Hair Dye for Dogs, Cats and All Pets Can be Bathed (Pumpkin Orange)

Great color, safe for pets which is a MUST. However "Semi Permanent" is a huge understatement. My dog is in the pool daily most of the year, and it lasted for MONTHS. We didn't mind because it looked great but even after countless baths and sessions in the pool, they dye was still there on the white sections of his fur.

Below I have attached an image of the dye in use. The color turned out very vibrant and was easy to use. When using the dye I recommend to keep your dog occupied with a toy and peanut butter to keep them still if you do not have a leash for them. Getting the dye out was easy but time consuming. Overall I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who is wanting to have a colorful furry friend.

I followed the directions, bathed him, no conditioner, he was totally dry when applied. I waited 30 minutes before rinsing it out. Word to the wise, watch some tutorials on YouTube regarding creative grooming. It could have been a “fail” if I didn’t know some tips. I smudged peanut butter on the shower wall to keep him occupied along with a rawhide ☺️ Addendum: If you are looking for a color that washes out after 5 or so washes, be careful and do a small test section. This stuff lasts MUCH LONGER than that. I really think it depends of the texture of your dogs hair. Freddie has had a pumpkin colored tail since Halloween🎃

I LOVE this dye my dog looks so cute and has gotten a lot of compliments on his orange ears and tail and paws! Application was easy I didn’t need a brush I just put on gloves and used my fingers to dye him. I like that it doest’t make too much of a mess (if your dog stays still). I did my dog’s hair on the floor and I regretted it halfway into it because my dog would keep moving away so I did get my tile a little stained, but it easily came off with Clorox wipes. Next time I’m doing it on a high table! Overall great product I will be ordering more colors.

This stuff was easy to use and the colors are exactly what I expected. Not totally “semi” permanent but it’s definitely gotten lighter with a couple baths. My dog didn’t love the smell but it wasn’t overpowering. Some smeared on the bathtub but came right up with a little soap, didn’t leave any stains

So, it might just be our dogs type of fur, but it’s been over 8 months and she still has orange spots. More permanent than semi for us.

Only good for light colored dogs or cats ,will not work on black color, disappointed used a ribbon instead to identify which twin is which (cats). Also the bottle it comes in would function better with a tip instead of wide open mouth.

My groomer applied this pet dye to my dog, Teddy, in September 2025, and I’ve been really impressed with it. It was easy to apply, long-lasting, and most importantly, it didn’t cause any irritation at all. One thing I would mention to owners, especially those with non-shedding breeds like Shih Tzus and Poodles, is that the colour can last a very long time. Teddy was dyed in September 2025 and by April 2026 it was still visible. The dye on his feet had worn off by December 2025, but the colour on his tail stayed and gradually grew out, fading into more of a pastel shade over time. A dyed dog is definitely an eye-catcher, but I’d recommend thinking it through carefully beforehand because the colour may stay around much longer than expected.

Good fun for Halloween also interesting to see how my dogs hair falls out because i havent washed all of i out yet
