This is a phenomenal product. As I’ve acne issues my dermatologist advised me to avoid dairy and then I came across cosmix and this is my 3rd Kerala vanilla bean protein powder purchase. Very happy with it. Taste is good. I like it.

Truly clean and effective protein powder! I’ve been using the Cosmix protein powder for a few weeks now, and I can already feel the difference. It’s light on the stomach, mixes well, and tastes great without any artificial sweetness. I love that it’s made with clean, plant-based ingredients and supports overall wellness — exactly what I was looking for! What impressed me most is the brand’s thoughtful approach to health and transparency. You can tell a lot of care has gone into formulating this. Definitely one of the best protein powders out there for anyone who wants a natural, wholesome option. Highly recommend it! 💚

Good for a sensitive gut, but sometimes feels heavy in summer (I used cold water). Taste is not so good; it can be improved (Kerala vanilla beans can be a little sweet). Used honey and chocolate powder to make it taste better. Little chalky in texture should take with at least 450ml for not too heavy.

Good taste & nutrition

I recently purchased Cosmix Plant Protein – Vanilla flavor, and unfortunately, this was a pretty disappointing experience for me. The biggest issue is the taste. I genuinely struggled to understand where the “vanilla” was. When you hear vanilla protein, you expect something mildly sweet, creamy, or at least smooth enough to drink daily. Instead, what I got was a very strong earthy flavor with an aftertaste that reminded me of fennel and peas. The aftertaste lingers for quite a while and completely overpowers whatever vanilla flavor is supposed to be there. Now, I understand that plant protein naturally tastes different from whey. Plant-based proteins often have an earthy profile and can be harder to flavor properly. I went into this expecting that. But this felt far beyond a slight earthy taste — every sip felt like I was forcing myself to finish it. I also tried giving it multiple chances. I mixed it with water, milk, and different combinations hoping it would improve. Unfortunately, the same issue remained: the fennel/pea-like aftertaste kept dominating everything. Nutritionally, Cosmix may have clean ingredients and may work for people who prioritize ingredient quality over taste. But protein is something you consume almost every day, and if you don't enjoy drinking it, consistency becomes difficult. My suggestion: if you're buying this mainly because you want a tasty vanilla protein shake experience, avoid this. If taste matters to you, there are far better options available. This does not taste like a classic vanilla protein at all. If you can tolerate strong earthy plant flavors, maybe you'll be fine. But if you're expecting a pleasant vanilla flavor, you may regret the purchase like I did.

For those who come from Whey Protein(Concentrate and Isolate), this is not the same as that. Sure, this Blended(Pea+Rice) Protein Powder is not gritty but it is not smooth either. It has that slight powdery feel when used in excess or when not mixed properly(seriously, let it soak in the liquid to make it smooth). Plus, if the label is to be believed, it has 10mg of Tryptophan per serving which is quite abysmal, even for a plant protein so it is suggested to pair it with other protein sources too(I use Fortified Soy Milk for this). No sugar(and Sucrolose too) is a plus. The monk fruit sweetness from Mogrosides is mild enough to be pleasant without overpowering it. It even has decent amount of Iron, Zinc and Potassium per serving, making it unnecessary to supplement for that. It even has dietary fiber too(which is hard to come by for a protein powder). So, four stars for this. I can't give it five stars as it hints at lack of appropriate amount of Tryptophan. Edit - The amount of Tryptophan per serving is corrected to 170mg per 38g serving as of December 2025 so it is better(actually pretty good) but still, combine this with other protein sources like Soy Milk(if possible) for better protein quality(i.e PDCAAS Score of 1). I am giving it that one remaining star. Five stars for a good product.

This is not just a clean, vegan protein powder, but it is also flavourful. I luv this vanilla flavour and also like the mocha!
