Dying of Thirst: New Paintings by Gary Baseman

It’s definitely not art for everyone. I loved Coach x Gary Baseman, hadn’t heard of him until that...found Dr Marten x Gary Baseman...worked my way around to finding this to get more of his art! Love it!Definitely more adult art though! I was a little surprised but i did anticipate it! Just something to keep in mind. :)

The book is luscious, and dripping as if just painted. You turn the pages almost afraid to get some fresh paint on your fingertips. Baseman has the magic power to take you by hand to the uncharted territories of a hellish childhood where innocence is haunted by skeletons, leaking rabbits, plumpy girls and flying sugarly spirits. It's an exhilarating trip for anyone who likes to get lost in a very nasty fairy tale. I recommend it.

One of Baseman's more risqué coffee table books. A personal favorite of mine that is sure to entertain.
