I love these clips. They are strong and I use them for many different ways I use them to hold the covers for my plants, hold back curtains, for closing food. Bags and clipping the dogs crate covers and many more. Very useful and very strong hold.

Love these. They held up so well. Looked perfect at the end of garden season with no loss if function at all. A good garden investment!

The clips work perfectly for attaching frost blankets to PVC pipe frames. I also use them to pin back the blankets when the days are warm enough. I purchased a second box to have extras for hanging off the edges for extra weight on breezy days. The clips have a small hole in the handle end, and I can imagine using them to hang something.

Metal clips work well on garden hoops and netting. They can stay put in Midwest Spring winds and are quick and easy to put in and take off. Would give it 5 stars but had two clips missing the spring, making them useless.

Just went thru some unusually cold weather in Fla and these little clips helped me cover my plants without the 25 mph winds ripping them off! Good size for small plant limbs. Holds tight.

I have purchased 3 of the 120 piece sets now, due to their wonderful versatility outdoors. I have used them to clip Christmas lights to pvc frames for warmth in my rosemary beds, and to the layers of frost cloth above that for winter protection. There have been no signs of rust, even when we left them out through weeks of rain, as well as extended snow in January. The clips have an amazingly secure grip, no matter what thickness of pipe or wire I have secured them to, and whether I have been attaching plastic or fabrics like frost and shade cloths. They are easy enough for me to pinch open, and to clip to various branch thicknesses. Their only hazard is making sure you wear gloves if you are securing odd shapes, or are in a hurry because it's late in the day or cold outside. I accidentally sliced into the side of an index finger when hurriedly clipping frost cloth to a rosemary shrub near the soil line because I couldn't see it well and wasn't paying attention. I won't do that again, as it took a week to heal that prominently used finger! The clip tip made a nasty jagged cut, which also left blood stains on my frost cloth. LOL. However, it doesn't pierce through my frost cloth as long as I don't have it stretched too tightly. I have lots of uses for these and love that these are high-quality stainless steel. I have enough of them now, so that if my husband carelessly drops them around the yard (typical), I will still have what I need for quick use. They are also shipped nicely in their packing box, neatly clipped to strips of cardboard so you can quickly count to make sure you receive the exact amount of clips ordered. I highly recommend them!

Very tiny and lightweight it’ll take several of these to hold down my plant cover in the South Texas wind. Would not purchase again. Maybe for something that requires something very very light duty they would be fine.

I'm tempted to say there's no way these things can be stainless steel, mainly because they cost 26 cents each, and the economics just don't work. But having said that, even if they're mild steel, I can't see how the economics work. The seller does say, multiple times, all over the Amazon sales page, that they're stainless steel, but they don't specific the grade ... 304 or 316, 410, 420 or 430 etc, which you'd think they'd do if they were stainless. They *do* say that the spring isn't stainless, which might explain the minor rust shown in the photographs of another review here. The one take-away from the above is that these clips are *unbelievably well-priced*. I needed strong steel clips to perform a temporary but vital role in the engine compartment of a forty-year-old car. The rocker cover, which they touch, can reach 270 degrees F. So this is a harsh environment. And these clips are perfection. They meet or exceed - in some areas far-exceed - all of my expectations and requirements. They are sturdily built ... they'll never fall apart. The springs are extremely powerful for their size, which was a critical requirement. They're small ... just big enough to do my job but no bigger. They fit perfectly in the engine bay, clamping and sealing broken P.C.V. components. Overall, one of the best finds I've ever had on Amazon. Thank you.

I originally purchased 20 of these and they are so versatile and robust (so far). If they start falling apart and rusting I’ll update this review but so far these clips have been so useful around the house and garden and I highly recommend.

I first bought these two years ago. They seem flimsy because they weigh so little, but they are STRONG and DURABLE. Super useful little clips to have around the house and garden. I wouldn't be without them!
