This is a great machine. Powerful as advertised and gets the job done. If you are a do-it-yourself person like me, I would say this is a good drill to keep close by. I’m very pleased with its performance so far.

Got this as a gift for my husband. Of course he loves it and uses it on the daily to fix and create to his hearts content. It’s a staple powertool and a necessary part of every persons arsenal.

I'm pretty hard on my tools, burned out a few different brands of drills over the years. This one still works like it's new.

I own two older and much heavier cordless drills manufactured by well recognized companies. My new Dewalt is lighter in weight and physically smaller. However it exceeds the other two in power and torque. Hold tight to this little power house. If the drill bit jams while drilling it could easily twist your wrist! I love the new drill. It’s easy to use and compact.

Great price, strong powerful drill ,but the hammer drill option is only for lite duty jobs it really doesn't hammer like a real hammer drill. But I am overall happy with the quality of it.

I switched over to Dewalt drills about 15 years ago and have been very happy with their combination of price, quality, performance and durability. This my fourth Dewalt cordless drill and it's quickly becoming a favorite ( I gave one to my future son in law and had one stolen). The compact size is fantastic for working in hard to reach spaces and yet it has plenty of power. I typically use the 2aH or the 5 aH XR batteries depending on what I'm doing. It's a tool that has never let me down and simply works for me.

Lack of information for UAE market. As UAE electricity is 220v but this charger come with 120v, without knowing this while purchasing, plug the charger into socket break the charger. This is not a happy purchase, even though the device is good.

I got rid of all my drills and looked for a new drill. The reason I landed on DeWalt - I bought a DeWalt Inflator that requires a 20v DeWalt battery. The reason I decided on DCD805d2: it is the most compact AND powerful drill with HAMMER function; and the included batteries are 2.0 AH which is just right for me in terms of weight and capacity. I actually liked DCD800 better (a bit smaller), but I really don't want to get another drill for the hammer function! Overall, I am pretty happy with this purchase. The drill in indeed powerful! And the batteries are lightweight and with reasonable capacity. The only thing I don't like is the bag - it is too small, and doesn't look nice (may throw it away).
