Kessil LED Light Pendant A-Series Gooseneck Clamp/Mount

I looked high and low to find a clip light that I could clip onto my bed and use to read while not bothering my wife. This product certainly does that. The clip is a little small for my needs but it is strong and won't let the light fall when it is clipped correctly. That was VERY important to me. Most clip lights have very weak clips that irritate me. This one is strong enough to get the job done. The light is shines is a very nice white that does not spread to much through the room. After a month of using it my wife has not been bothered yet by it. I just point the light directly at my book and her side of the bed stays pretty dark. The final item is the goose neck. It is a an ideal length. It allows me to really curve the light so that it only hits my book. I could not be happier with this product. The 3 items I look for (clip, goose neck, and actual light) all do exactly what I would want.

I have a Kessil A160WE Tuna Sun attached to mine. This mount is of very high quality, as is true with Kessil products in general. Mounted to my rimmed tank easily, and the adapter included should make it easy to mount to almost any type tank edge. Some have complained this gooseneck is hard to adjust. It is very stiff and strong, but gee, isn't that the point of making a well designed mounting? It does take some time and patience to get it adjusted exactly where you need the light to be, but once set it stays put. It is also attractive on my tank and the cords are not a distraction if you cable tie them correctly - cable ties are included. This gooseneck mounting is exactly what I expected from Kessil - first rate all the way.

I got this for one of the medium sized kessils on a 30" tank and not 2 day's later the tank sprung a leak. It wasn't the product's fault but my own, the glass was pretty thin and I didn't realize how large this arm was and that there are two different sizes at least and I had to put way to much stress on it to fit a tank narrower than 18". But the product it's self is really good. After upgrading to a 75g I had in storage (and a lot of panic) I made lemonade out of lemons and set up one of my nano tanks I took down a year or two ago, this time with the A160we hooked to the 75g next to it instead of the little nano Kessil I once had on it. Lesson learned.

Feels like really high quality. A little stiff, but I guess thats a good thing. Would recumbent the 90 degree attachment for smaller tanks, as you can't really bend this to sharp.

Nice quality light. Create some top water movement and watch the shimmer. Pros - output. shines thru to the bottom - adjustable color - adjustable intensity - shimmer effect - mounting. sturdy and separate from lid. can move out of way Cons - expensive - profile. not a big fan of how it looks on top of the tank - output. can make some of your fish look different and duller if set too bright

Missing mounting parts and screws. The gooseneck itself feels sturdy and well made, but I’m unable to use it because essential mounting hardware was not included. The product photos are also misleading. The listing mentions A-Series compatibility and shows the Kessil A160WE, which led me to expect the necessary mounting components would be included. Unfortunately, those parts were missing entirely, making the product unusable as received.

People complain about the price but to be honest for quality you gonna pay if you want cheap by a finnex or beamswork. If your a hard core aquarium hobbyist then buy these you won't regret it and if your setting up your first tank wait to see if this hobby is for you. Kessil is the top brand and there research is top notch. And made in the good ol USA. 5:stars all the way great job kessil. If you Want cheap by Chinese. There not bad but there no kessil either.

I bought a Gooseneck for the Kessil 150W and I really like it. The Gooseneck installs in literally 2 minutes and makes adjustments really easy. It seems well built and durable. When I ordered it it came with the wrong hardware but the product itself is great.
