What's more annoying than having the rear glass of your truck shell smack you in the head or having to look for something to keep it from doing so? Not much. My shocks were going and then gone. I did my homework and found these to be compatible with my application. They were easy to change out and everything else fell right into line with what I expected and the installation took less than 10 minutes. I don't think instructions came with but replacement instructions were easy to find in YouTube. These shocks were very affordable and I never knew I could do it myself without having to go to the dealership. My advice is when they seem like they're going, buy these before they do and use your camper shell, tailgate or trunk the way it was meant to be used. Perfect.

I bought these to replace the rear window struts on my Gem Top camper shell. They were easy to install and work as the originals worked when shell was new. I recommend this product to replace old struts that no longer have the strength to self open the door. I originally purchased replacement struts from a different vendor and once installed they opened the door hard, slamming it against the hinges without a soft landing and sent them back.

Did not hold up rear glass it was rate at 26lb had order heavier ones.

My factory gas struts on my truck topper window died. Replaced with these and had them on and working in about 5 minutes. Only been on for one day so can not say how reliable they are. These work fine. Lee
