Sundance Crochet Skirted Swim Brief (3977)

This swim skirt is really well made and cute. I am frustrated with the sizing. I am 5’4” 135ish lbs and normally wear a size 4/6 bottom. I first ordered a medium, it was way too big. Then I ordered a small and it was still a little bit. The small fits, but you have to remember when you go in water things become heavy and tend to grow/slip off. I want my swim bottoms to fit snug to where I feel like they’re secure. Pictured I am wearing a size small. Like it said, it looks fine but it doesn’t feel very secure around the waist. I guess I will try ordering the extra small (I am never an extra small) or else I will have to have to taken in and altered. The overlay is also a little big. I will probably have it taken in. Bottom line, if you are between sizes sizedown. Overal consider sizing down, UNLESS you want a looser fit.Update: ordered the extra small and it does fit. It’s just a little too short now and I feel like my backside is about to hang out. Bottom line I stuck with the size small. It is a tad roomy on me, but it works. I have swam in it and it worked out fine. I would recommend. I should point out that if you are VERY curvy in the backside/hips your normal size will probably fit fine. It just has space in the skirt, which I’m not used to. Normally my swim skirts sit closer to my body, not right but more snug than this.

I bought this swimsuit bottom to go with a Freya top. If you are considering it, but wish it were longer, I will tell you that if you do not cinch up the sides, the skirted covering is much longer than the picture. They are easy to cinch up to whatever length you want. It is nice to have the option to wear it either way. Pleased with purchase. They will go with several bikini and tankini tops that I have.

I wanted a change from my usual black bathing suit bottom. This is really cute! It’s a tad loose on me, but I can always throw it in the dryer. It is a little longer than in the picture, which I like.

I love this piece so much! This bottom let me strut the beach in confidence as it covered my thunder thighs but still some see through. I love it so much. Wish I ordered an extra.

I am 5’4 135, smaller in the waist and have bigger hips. I ordered a size medium and it was perfect. I love this swim bottom because you can adjust the sides to the height you want the skirt. It has a little more coverage than a normal bottom but definitely is not a grandma skirt like most! Great quality. LOVE it!

Love, Love , Love! I wear large in bathing suit bottoms and this skirt (which is as shown) fit perfect. The bottoms provide the right amount of coverage and the sides can be adjusted up or down with the pull strings.

This is the cutest skirt! enough coverage but very flirty, and you can adjust the height of the skirt by the sides!!I also bought the same tankini top;) Got a ton of compliments!!!

Low-cut. I would’ve preferred that the skirt and the bikini bottom be separate.

Really nice, flattering design. It does get very heavy when wet and takes an age to dry. If you don't plan to go into water it's a really nice little bikini bottom that covers the bumps.

I have a lot of Freya products , these wash well , very comfortable and look amazing

Very good quality and so comfortable. I first ordered the medium but it was to big so I went for a xs. Loved it so much I ordered the black and the white. Its just a shame that I couldn't find a bikini top the match them yet.
