Can this strain be used to seed a new batch from the yogurt made?

The resulting product from the first fermentation can be used once or twice to seed a new batch but please keep in mind that the manufacturer does not recommend it. Furthermore, in such cases the beneficial properties of the yogurt would not be as strong and the bacteria will be less prevalent. If you have any further questions, do not hesitate to ask us! What are the ingredients?

Hi, From the package: 'Multi-strain Lactobacillus bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermopilus isolated from Bulgarian nature specifically selected for the preparation of home made Bulgarian yoghurt.' I am very happy with this culture. I use it to make coconut yoghurt. I also add 1 teaspoon of agar, 2 teaspoons of kudzu and 1 tablespoon of brown sugar to feed the little guys. Excellent result.

Is this product Dairy-Free?

Probably not. As the bacteria had to be cultured on something. But I use it to make coconut yoghurt, with agar, kudzu and brown sugar.
