No it doesn't come pre-painted. It's one of the better models that I built. It's actually a very good model for the price. Good luck Rick

Q: What is the actual length/width of this car when assembled? It gives 30 x 30 x 30 inches for 'product dimensions' - that's 2 1/2 feet!

I don't know the actual assembled measurements of the car, but was very disappointed in this kit. I didn't put it together. The car is only about twice the size of a Matchbox car.

Q: does the kit come with glue and paint?

no. glue and paint have always needed to be purchased separately in all the models I've built.
