No more pin holes & tears in my jerseys!
I know these are marketed to runners, but I am using Race Bib Tape for applying my race numbers for cycling races. So far the product is working well for me. I and a few friends have used it a few times now for some cyclocross races (short-ish events lasting 30-60 minutes). My number has stayed on securely and has even survived a couple small wipe outs...keeping my race number securely attached to my jersey even after falling and sliding on my side (where the race number is placed for the cycling races I have been doing). A fall like that with safety pins holding the number on could result in large holes in my jersey - no damage with the Race Bib Tape. And so far, no issues with any adhesive residue being left on my jersey. The stickier side on the tape applied to the race number seems to keep it firmly on the number and I have been able to pull the number off without any issues, leaving a clean and hole free jersey!

excellent for cycling events as well
I bought the RB Tape because i race road bikes/time trials and have found this to be an excellent product. It is VERY sticky when applied to dry clothing and you need to take some care when you pull it off as it will really pull the fabric. I’m using it on a textured one-piece skinsuit, which is kinda pricey…so i hold the fabric down while i pull the number/tape off after the event.I haven’t had any real issues with residue and i’ve found this to do a much better job holding the number flat/in place than other tape products. The time trials I ride have fairly fast sections (40-45mph / 60-70kph) and i’ve yet to have a number come loose.i will say, the smaller size of these makes it a little tedious to peal and stick seven pieces to hold the number flat (that or the stress of getting ready before an event makes it seem tedious), but you can’t beat this product for price or performance.i like it enough to put it on a subscription and if you race on a regular basis i would recommend that as well.great product.

Better than ripping your clothes
I put 3 sides of tape on it, and applied to my shorts. It started to fall off after the 1st mile ugh! Granted the course has a a lot of scrambling and I think my leg sweat started to seep through, not sure. So I moved it to my shirt and had zero issues! Overall it’s a decent product but you could absolutely just buy regular double sided tape and it’ll do the same thing.

Good and bad
Theyre perfect for using when you dont want to be bothered with trying to line up bibs with pins or using the unreliable button options! The bad side is they are hard to remove which caused a slight damage to my jersey as well as leaving a residue afterwards. Not sure if i will use again for my next event at least attached directly to my expensive cycling jerseys

Excellent
Perfect alternative to magnets or safety pins. I bought this for the Brooklyn half and performed above expectation. Just make jure you place a piece of paper on the tape after using if you want to keep your bib as a souvenir, tape wont come easy from the bib. This will also double up as a fabric double sided tape.

Life time user now
Ran a 5k using these. Held up amazingly. No residue left and more importantly no holes left! I sweat a lot and even though my shirt got wet they were perfectly still attached. Now to try them for longer races will be the real test.

Tape bonded and ruined shirt
I bought this tape for a marathon, not wanting to put pin holes in a new shirt. Unfortunately the tape worked too well, and all of the tape remained on the shirt and none on the bib. It bonded so well to the shirt that it even ripped the bib. This was a brand new, high-tech, expensive shirt that is now ruined. I exchanged an email with customer service and they noted that it works on most fabrics. Unfortunately, I guess mine wasn't one of them. I like the concept, but can't recommend this product.

Say good-bye to safety pins. Say hello to big sticky spots left on your clothing.
I'll never put this tape on anything I care about again, and I'd recommend others avoid it entirely. This ruined my favorite activewear shirt. It held the bib well throughout the event I was participating in, but after the race one of the stickers failed to detach properly and left a significant, thick sticky residue. The sticky residue remained after an initial wash. I tried a number of solutions based on online recommendations that failed to remove the sticky residue (which was very visible, because it collects all sorts of gunk, and is right in the center of the chest area).A month later and I ended up using goo-be-gone, which cost as much as the tape. Now the sticky residue is gone, but there is still a discolored patch (either from the residue, or the removal effort, it is hard to say).
