Cannot recommend enough!
Amazing. Outstanding. I have used light and heavy boats, had only one small backlash, it casts easy, it’s quick and simple to use, it works like a charm, it’s smooth to reel and easy to set up. Backlash remains an issue but I noticed it only rarely does so, and only if you improperly set up for your bait.z it’s lightweight and compact enough to where I was able to easily fit it onto smaller rods.

GOOD REELS
I have 5 KastKing reels, and I have been very happy with them. I have the SPARTCUS, and I've had it for over 5 years and never a problem. This reel casts a country mile. I've already caught several large bass w it and it doesn't complain, reels them in no problem. Just dial it in right and no problems. I haven't backlash it yet!! Very comparable to much mire expensive reels!!!

A bargain
Fished it this morning and was amazed. Almost impossible to backlash and a very smooth retrieve. Would buy another one well worth the money.

Overall a good reel
It’s a great value for the money and works as well as any other reel but don’t fool yourself into thinking that it’s the all cure for backlashes. Like any other reel you must fine tune it or it will backlash like any other reel. Took me about 30 minutes to get it dialed in

A lightweight reel with heavyweight results
This purchase of additional 3 reels brings my total to 6 Spartacus II reels. I really like the weight of the reel, how easy and consistent it casts, the drag system is strong when needed, and right out of the box it takes very little time to set up to use immediately. The green color is attractive and makes the reel easy to identify on the boat deck when wanting to change rods quickly. Don't let the lower cost fool you. It performs as well or better than the higher dollar reels I have used in previous years.
