Works great! A few tips...
Fabulous! Best batch of yogurt I've ever made. I started making yogurt after reading the book Super Gut by William Davis MD. I make mine in an Instant Pot so I can be sure the temperature stays a consistent 100 degrees Fahrenheit throughout the process. Quart of heavy cream, yogurt starter packet, sprinkle a capsule of Raw Probiotic, add 2 tablespoons of inulin powder (a prebiotic that feeds the probiotics) and stir to mix (I use a whisk). Set it and forget it in the Instant Pot for 36 hours. Super easy to make! All of these items are available on Amazon. This starter is the one that made the yogurt come out pretty creamy. Other starters (specifically L. Reuteri) made it come out like cottage cheese and I had to use a mixer to get it to the creamy stage. It looks like there may be a few curds in this one, but it's 95% better than my last batch so I'm very happy! I use it in a smoothie or with home made granola, but it's also delicious plain! I'm placing another order for starter today.

Disappointing Results – Do Your Research First
I was so excited to start making my own yogurt, but unfortunately, this starter culture didn’t deliver. Every batch came out thin, overly sour, and honestly just not edible. After a few failed attempts, I started doing some digging and discovered an important detail: many yogurt starters sold on Amazon aren’t refrigerated and can sit on shelves for long periods—far too long for something this delicate. These types of cultures really need to be kept cold to maintain their effectiveness. I wish I had known that before. I’m giving this product 1 star and strongly recommend buying yogurt starters directly from the manufacturer to ensure they’re properly stored and fresh. I took my own advice, bought it directly from the company, and immediately made a yummy yogurt. Lesson learned—hoping this helps someone else avoid the same mistake!

May impart a yeasty taste
This is a good blend of good probiotics. However, for yogurt it may impart a yeasty taste (according to Michelle Schoffro-Cook's book, The Cultured Cook. I have found this to be true, and am going back to using probiotic capsules that contain only Lactobacillus varieties, or Bulgaricus. The culprit in the mix, says Cook, is the S. Thermophilus (S. being saccharomyces - a yeast).
