Solid, 5-Star (Adjustable!) Chair
Just got this and set it up ... have only used it for a day or two, but already can say it seems to be what I was looking for. My computer setup and work is super ergo, with multiple monitors (at eye height!), orthonormal split keyboard, and everything adjusted as well as it can be. BUT long days at the computer continue to take their toll, and in addition back and shoulder pain, I was starting to get hip and low back pain, presumably for all the slouching and poor postures than standard chairs tend to exacerbate. I decide on this particular kneeling chair, because it is ADJUSTABLE. This chair adjusts perfectly for me in the current setup, but I seriously doubt a general, "out of the box" (non-adjustable) configuration would have worked for this chair. (Most office chairs are adjustable, body types just vary to much for one size fits all. Kneeling chairs need to adjust, too!) The chair is nice, solid and easy to put together. They even sent a notebook and pen, and cute wooden phone holder. Clearly, they care about their product and its purpose. The chair still takes some getting used to. With the correct adjustments, the height is actually a little more than I was expecting (for the height of my desk), but no problem, I got taller wrist wrests and raised my center monitor, and the whole setup is quite comfortable. The most notable point is that it is really difficult to have bad posture in this chair. It "forces" you to be upright, and also keeps you from slouching side-to-side, without feeling unnatural. It's likely that I'll switch back-and-forth to the regular chair after some hours, in the same way that people with standing desks also sit periodically, or how there really is no one "most comfortable" position to sleep in - it's natural to change positions after some time. The one odd thing is that there is really not much position for your feet. This seems obvious, but I can't really put my feet flat, so they are pointed slightly (as they would be if you were sitting on your knees). This is probably somewhat intrinsic to sitting chair, and is just ... part of the positioning. It does also work to put one (or two) feet in front, on slightly cross the legs, for some variation while sitting. But the general feel is just comfort, as I can tell my arms are actually hanging correctly (relief!), and there is just no stress or twist in my low back. It does take a little effort, which is why I'll likely need to switch back to my standard chair periodically, but the effort is just a reminder, and easy way, to continually work on your posture. I'm curious if this feel ever more comfortable, after a month of the mild stretching and strengthening that results from setting in this chair. Overall, 100% happy with the purchase, and would recommend, especially to anyone who needs some additional ergo in their office setup.

Love this chair!
Sitting at my desk for 8-9 hours a day even with additional padding, my butt and my legs started hurting. My left leg actually becomes numb and painful. After researching ergonomic chairs for hours, I decided to order the NYPOT Ergonomic chair. I thought that getting the pressure off my back and butt would help ease the pain. There were so many kneeling chairs, it was hard to decide which one to purchase until I saw the NYPOT chair. I liked the fact that I could adjust the tilt of the chair, it rocks, and it wiggles. I did not see these features altogether in any other chairs. I am so glad that I chose this chair. It is very comfortable and very well built. It was very easy to put together and the seller offers a video to follow to make the assembly easier. Took me about 10 minutes to put together. I'm sure that using any one chair for a prolonged time would cause pain. I plan on using the NYPOT chair and my regular desk chair together. Really love this chair!! Also, I was very surprised and pleased that the seller sent a "Special Gift" of a very nice looking journal, a wooden pen, and a wooden phone holder. What a way to show appreciation for purchasing their product!! It's a few dollars more than some other kneeling chairs, but it's well worth the price in it's quality. Follow up after 1week of using the chair: still love it. As other reviewers mentioned, my shins were a bit sore after about an hour or two. I don't lean on anything against my shin so it wasn't a surprise. I had an extra foam pillow so I cushioned my shin and no more pain! Can also adjust the height so try different settings. I love the rocking and wiggling feature to loosen my back. It really helps.

Good Product, Excellent Customer Service!
I decided to go with this kneeling chair because of the adjustability and the rocking feature. It had a lot of great reviews, so I gave it a try. The assembly was easy enough, but there was one slat piece that had the holes drilled on the wrong side with no way to flip the piece the other direction. It seems that quite a few people have run into this issue, but it is only cosmetic and doesn't impact the performance at all. The company actually reached out to see how the chair was working out for me a couple days after I put it together. I told them about the slat and asked it it was possible for them to send me another one with the holes drilled correctly on it. Their service rep, Precious, ended up sending me another chair and told me to keep the original one as well. I did not expect that! Everything was drilled correctly on the second chair and I was happy with the outcome. Precious has been great to work with and she has been really responsive to messages. So, I would say that the customer service at this company is top notch! No complaints there! As for the quality of the chair itself, I would say that it's good, but it could be much better. First, it does help out with back and hip pain by putting you in a better ergonomic position when compared to sitting in a regular chair. The adjustable seat and kneeling pads are really helpful for people of various builds and heights. One improvement that would absolutely make this chair much better for the majority of people would be to re-evaluate the seat and (especially) the knee/shin cushions. The cushioning either needs to be thicker by at least a half an inch or a higher density grade foam needs to be used. The seat cushion isn't terrible, but the knee/shin cushion definitely needs to be altered. Let me be clear that I understand that it can take some time for your shins to get used to these types of chairs. I've used these types of chairs for long periods of time in the past with no pain or issues. However, my shins get pretty achy after using this chair for about 20 to 30 minutes. I am in great shape at 5' 8" 165 lbs. I also do martial arts and have well-conditioned shins. Regardless, the padding on this chair still causes shin pain after a short time. You can play around with the adjustments to make it more comfortable, but ultimately something will need to change with the padding for this chair in order to be used as an all-day chair for most. Another improvement that might make sense is to rethink the placement of the front slat (one closest to the kneeling pad). The problem is that it is possible to rock that front slat onto your toes, either pinching them or crushing them. That front slat should be moved at least 6 inches closer to the kneeling pad, which would move that slat more forward and upward instead of being so close to your toes on the ground. So, if both the slat position and chair cushioning were changed a bit, then this would probably get a 5 star rating from me. All in all, it's still a good product, but it might not work for everyone for the long haul in its current state. The customer service is amazing though!

This chair might save my back!
I seldom write reviews, but this item begs a 5 star rating. The chair is sturdy and well-engineered. All the pieces fit and the finished product is rock solid. I purchased the NYPOT chair because I write for hours at a time at my desk. My back was beginning to give me problems--sore and sometimes ultra painful. I can tell right away that the chair is taking most of the strain off my buttocks and back, placing some of the weight onto my shins. Only time will tell if this is a temporary fix or something that is more permanent. Stay tuned. Assembly was a snap. My only advice for the manufacturer is to change the lettering on the diagram to match the order assembly. It reads A,B,C but the pictured assembly is confusing--C,B,A. (No biggie, just a small change). One more advice would be to make clear that the wooden logo board assembles easier when the logo faces outward rather than inward. That directional instruction wasn't mentioned. (Again, no biggie). Continuing with assembly, there were a few extra parts included, just in case. II appreciated the manufacturer's concern. Much to my surprise, the packaging included a lagniappe: a cell wooden phone holder that matches the chair and a hardbound note pad. So far, I am a happy camper.

Adjustable, great concept, nice look
So... I've had this at my desk for about 7 months. It gets used probably 3-4 days a week, varying from 8-10 hour work days to just an hour of leisure computer use. The seat and knee stand are both adjustable and I feel like I was able to make it fit my stature without difficulty. I'm 5'7" and weigh about 160 pounds- I feel like anyone too broad across the butt might have to contend with the wooden sides, but I could be overestimating. My BIGGEST complaint is the durability of the knee cushion. I'm already at the point of considering the need for an additional cushion or replacing what's there. It's uncomfortable for long periods, as a result. Appearance wise, it looks nice. Takes less.floor space because I can push it further under my desk (no arms to contend with) and definitely forces me to sit more ergonomically which leads to longer comfort over time (just not on the knees).

Great Chair!
Helping so much with my hip pain! Comfortable to sit in, and not too hard to put together (though not super easy either). Seems sturdy and itโs a great size for my space.

Great for Joint Pain and Posture
I was a little dubious about whether I would like this chair, but I had been getting neck and hip pain after sitting in a regular office chair all day, so I decided to give it a try. For the first hour it seemed a little weird, the second hour my shins hurt a bit, and after that I basically forgot I'd ever hand another kind of chair. You sit higher than you would in a regular chair, but my knees still fit under my desk and keyboard tray. You do put more weight on your bum than usual, so sometimes that hurts a bit by the end of the day, and since it forces you to sit up straight it can make your back muscles tired (though I imagine they will get stronger). It's more than worth it for how much other pain it helps with -- my hip quit hurting after 2 days and my neck stopped hurting after a week and a half. In Zoom meetings I can see how much straighter I'm sitting. I like that you can sit a lot of different ways in this chair -- it's great for fidgeters. You can kneel with your weight on different parts of your legs / knees, put your feet on the floor and sit on it like a stool, put your feet on the knee rest for a kind of squat, and cross your legs on the knee rest. I even put my feet together on the knee rest (like baddha konasana, if you do yoga). The rocking is nice too. Overall, I'd say this is a really good buy at this price point.

Solid & Functional
This kneeling chair is comfortable, more adjustable, and lighter weight than the rolling kneeler I replaced it with. It sits higher than my previous chair, even at its lowest setting. The rocking feature adds posture and core support. The chair is structurally solid, but I was disappointed with a noticeable surface blemish. The manufacturer provided a partial refund in lieu of a requested replacement part that I would have preferred. Rather than return such a large package in itโs entirety, I accepted the refund and will live with the surface blemish.

Good quality and looks nice. Do need some patience to adapt
I ordered this chair to help me sit with better posture when working. I researched about a few options and want to have a chair that help me sit up right, plus encourage myself to actively maintain balance. This chair came in a good packaging. As other mentioned, the box is not a simple cardboard, but with a printed inside layer as a nice touch. The assembling was easy enough and the instructions were clear. Just to make sure you check the orientation of the 3 middle pieces correctly as the 2 sides are not the same. As shown in the pictures, they have added one more adjustment level to both cushions, which provided more flexibility to fit the user. The wooden frame seems to be in good quality and the design allows a little lateral movement of the seat. The rocking movement is easy and still feel safe. I have used it for a week now. Yes, it will take some time for the shin to get use to bearing some load. I do feel some soreness at the shin. So I adjust my posture and the cushions position to help myself to adapt. I set the seat to be more level and take more load now. Once I get more comfortable, I can change the angle to allow the kneeling to bear more load. The chair comes with a little gift. It was not a notebook as others mentioned. It was a little wooden phone stand. It is not much, but still a nice gesture.

Quality matters
I paid a little more compared to others that were similar but I don't regret my decision. Easy to assemble, high quality materials, effective online support and it feels great when we sit on it. I highly recommend.

Bruises on the front of my shins
I like the idea, but they definitely need to work on the quality of the cushion. My shins bruised after just two days of use.
