Don't waste your $$$
Check recipe before u proceed! Book obviously not proof read. Complete cooking instructions are missing occasionally. Ingredients listed, but not in directions or talked about in directions & not listed in ingredients! No website or resource listed for clarification. Don't waste your $$$.

NOT for Instant Pot users
Fake reviews (same review by different people). This book has nothing to do with the actual Instant pot. It is a cash grab with a bunch of old crock pot recipes.

NOT 500 recipes
I gave it 2 stars only because I am a little upset that this book does NOT have 500 recipes but only less than 200.

Waste of money even at 99 cents
This is NOT an Instant Pot cookbook. I haven't found one recipe yet that is anything other than a slow cooker recipe. If I wanted a slow cooker cookbook, I'd have bought one. I wanted a cookbook with recipes that would take advantage of the pressure cooking, rice making, and other features of my new Instant Pot. If there is such a recipe in this book, it is hiding.I am so disappointed I feel like it was a waste of money even at only $0.99. I'd like my money back.

Book Missing 300+ recipes.
This 500 Instant Pot Recipes Cookbook by Laura King was given as a gift to my sister-in-law. She received and reviewed it on 7.15.17. It is far short of 500 Recipes (only has approximately 180). Want to return the Cookbook and get money back. What is the process for returning this book? Instant Pot Cookbook: 500 Instant Pot Recipes Cookbook for Smart People In comparison, Jett Jones Instant Pot Cookbook was on the same order and was received and reviewed 0n 7.15.17. The book advertises 500 Recipes and it actually has 501.

Pot Recipes Aplenty
This is a best-selling pot recipe cookbook with lots and lots of well documented recipes. That’s it—no happy patter, no discussions of cooking tools or hardware, no digressions. It’s a bargain on Kindle, and also available on paperback at a higher price. I suspect most cooks will opt for the Kindle version. Each recipe consists of the descriptive name (for example, “Italian Pork with Polenta”), cook time, ingredients, and step-by-step directions for preparation. The recipes are more detailed than those in most cookbooks. The recipes are organized into two major categories (Instant Pot Recipes and Slow Cooker Recipes) and a dozen or so sub-categories, of the recipes themselves. The Table of Contents may be used like an index to locate the type of recipe and specific recipe the reader is looking for. The major categories and sub-categories are Instant Pot Recipes (breakfast, chicken, dessert, dinner, healthy, miscellaneous, vegetarian), Slow Cooker Recipes (dinner, dessert, chicken , breakfast, 5 ingredients or less, soup and stew, dump meals, freezer meals, paleo diet, low carb, healthy, quick and easy).

I am disappointed with this recipe book for Instant Pot
I am disappointed with this recipe book for Instant Pot. First off, there is NOT 500 recipes - maybe 200. If they declare nearly each recipe to have variations and that adds to 500, well, then I sure didn't see it. No photos, on paper that would easily damage with a spill or water, and nothing original within it. Sorry, I usually am very forgiving with things, but this was NOT what it described itself as far as I'm concerned. Really weird, quite frankly. Good luck "with all that," Laura King.

I'm not smart enough to appreciate this cookbook.
It is clear there are nowhere near 500 recipes in this bare bones text document with a colorful front cover. Of the less than 200 recipes contained in it, many are poorly edited with missing ingredients and outrageous inaccuracies, (i.e. a 5-6 lb. protein with a serving size of 1.), several "recipes" are simply too basic to be called a recipe, more like a basic "how-to" with only 1 ingredient (i.e., put it in the pot, add water and cook it for 5 minutes.). Several of the recipes are titled as if they were a complete dish ready to serve, (i.e., Pulled Chicken Tacos.) but in reality is a simplistic procedure for cooking chicken with salsa sauce, with no mention of tortillas, or other ingredients that might make up a complete taco. The organization of the sections of the recipes is in alphabetical order and bears no relationship to the logical approach a home cook would use when looking for a recipe. Lastly the book appears to be actually printed and bound on demand, mine has a print date equal to the date I ordered it, and it contains only text, with the same font throughout, no photos, no color, no appeal. The title says "500 Delicious Instant Pot Recipes Cookbook for Smart People" and is misleading at best. I consider myself of only average intelligence but I can count to 500, and I can recognize a low quality product when I see it. Instant Pot Cookbook: 500 Instant Pot Recipes Cookbook for Smart People

Good cookbook. The recipes are great
Good cookbook. The recipes are great, easy to follow, simple and a nice change from my usual. How ever there are some typos that would confuse people and have them start to question what they are making. Like in blueberry jam it has strawberries in the instructions. I would recommend this book!
