I was getting the check emmision system error on my 2015 Honda Civic EX; read online that it could be as simple as replacing the gas cap; purchased this item and looked up a video on how to install a new one.Went to turn on my car and lo and behold the error code disappeared! Can't say that it'll fix all emission system errors but in my case it did the trick! Saved a bunch of money vs taking it to the dealership. Highly recommend!

This gas cap works great on my 2008 Honda Accord. It fit properly, installed easily, and gave me a simple replacement for the old one without any hassle. I purchased this replacement gas/fuel cap for my 2015 Honda CRV, and it worked exactly as expected. Sometimes it’s the small parts that make a big difference—and this is one of them because I didn't have to have anyone replace it for me. Especially after I realized I could buy it on Amazon 😀 !The cap fit perfectly right out of the box. It clicked securely into place, just like the original OEM cap. No looseness, no forcing it, and no issues sealing properly. The only issue I had was trying to get it threaded to my car, but that's a user issue and I will figure it out eventually. As long as it fixed my check engine light that is all that matters for now. After a short drive, the warning cleared and hasn’t come back.Easy install, simple and affordable!
