I purchased this for my 8-month old son since he is always trying to get ahold of my aluminum-bodied lights and put them into his mouth. The plastic and over-molded rubber body is much easier on the teeth, but still gives him all the satisfaction of blinding everyone in the room.This light is an incredible value as a general purpose torch. It compares with the Princeton Tec dive lights I have (though I don't dive), and at 1/4 the cost (this only being around $8) it's a decent value. It's made with lower quality plastics, and the binning on the LED puts it more into the cool white/blue hue than I care for.If this was a $30 light I would have been disappointed... but it's $8, so I really complain.
