I recently purchased the Godox 2PCS FW30x120cm/12 x 47 Bowens Mount Strip Honeycomb Grid Softbox, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. The quality of these softboxes is outstanding. They provide excellent diffusion, creating beautiful, soft lighting that enhances my photography and video work. What really impressed me was the thoughtful design and build quality—everything feels sturdy and well-made. The price point is fantastic, especially considering the high-quality results they deliver. It’s rare to find such a perfect balance of quality and affordability. I highly recommend these softboxes to anyone looking to improve their lighting setup. I would buy them again in a heartbeat! If you're serious about your craft, investing in this product is a no-brainer.

Sturdy and works fine. My time spent assembling it was excessive. Maybe there is a trick to it but getting it all the stretch out and insert the connectors was difficult. I only assembled one of the pack of two. I have a round soft box from another vendor, similar size and price point that folds open and closed quite easily. Rectangular vs round might be an apples to oranges comparison. As a soft box in and of itself it was fine for my purposes.

I have 2 rectangular soft boxes that just weren't giving me the light that I needed. This one gives great light for a photo shoot. I also used it for some head shots on location and was able to set-up quickly because of how easy it is to pop this softbox open and then close down after your shoot. This is a great addition for any photographers gear.

I wanted to love these, but these soft boxes were a complete disaster from start to finish. I’ve been a photographer for over ten years and have assembled many modifiers, but the Godox 30x120cm strip boxes are by far the worst I’ve ever purchased. First, they are almost impossible to assemble.The rods require such extreme force that it took both me and my husband trying to bend them, and even then it barely came together. It was so difficult that it actually made me look unprofessional at a paid shoot because we could not get the modifier put together in a reasonable amount of time. No soft box should take 30 minutes and two adults struggling just to attach the rods. Once we finally got them assembled, we had another problem: getting them disassembled was just as bad, as you will see in the video—we genuinely didn’t think we were going to be able to collapse them without breaking something. And unfortunately, after ONE single use, both soft boxes ripped..the stitching on the sides started coming off. The seams tore, the material stretched in all the wrong places, and it became obvious that the fabric is extremely cheap and not reinforced the way a professional modifier should be. I honestly have no idea how these have such high ratings unless people are reviewing them before using them in the field. From build quality, assembly, usability, and durability, these are PURE JUNK and I would give them negative 20 stars if I could. Save yourself the frustration—these are not worth the money, the hassle, or the embarrassment on set.

For the price, I'm very happy! These softboxes can be a wee tough to assemble the first time because the poles are stiff, but it's not gonna be an issue if you don't plan on assemble-disassemble them regularly... I feel like the build quality is good, they are quite portable (disassembled) and I love the diffusion and grid options.
