Durable
Heavy construction provides better protection for lights than standard taillights. Some welding necessary for install but that was the point of this product. Well pleased.

A little DIY but looks great on trailer.
Great quality, as advertised they are solid steel boxes with cutouts for the lights, which are provided. For my application I welded these onto my trailer and they work great. The included lights are bright and easily seen in both the night and day. The one small problem I encountered was the wires for the included lights were long by any means so made a little difficult to wire, but not a deal breaker. One final note, make sure you paint these with some kind of rust coating, these are bare steel, they will rust if just welded on trailer.

Sturdier than plastic tailights
Arrived as pictured/described, the two metal u pieces that make up the body are of a sturdy gauge, they are tack welded together so the housing isn't sealed. The lights themselves are sealed, so not a real issue that the housing isn't. The housing is bare metal, so clean it up with acetone or similar and hit it inside and out with a metal primer. These are much more durable than the plastic trailer lights that seemed to shatter at the slightest impact. Some fabrication type work required to install such as welding or drilling bolt holes.

Good heavy-duty boxes for the lights
Good heavy-duty boxes for the lights, good value for your money . You will need to paint these boxes because they are bare metal, the only issue is the brightness of the LEDs not very visible during the daytime.

Extremely convenient for any trailer builder/repair shop
I put these on a trailer I built and am pleased with the brilliance of the light when lit up. AND these come with the pigtails and gaskets...I am wondering...what is not to like? Nothing to snivel about. Wish these were available when I had a fab-shop and was building custom trailers & truck bodies. Sure would have saved a bunch of labor!

Great Choice
These boxes/lights worked great for on my trailer. The metal is plenty to protect the lights and gave it a new/refreshed look with also making it more visible. I attached these by using a welder and painted them. They turned out great thus far, waiting to test longevity.

It's a utility trailer's dream come true
These work great. I am rebuilding a 30 yr old angle iron trailer and wanted to replace the lights only this one time. I think these are tough enough to do the trick. I didn't weld them on, instead I drilled some holes and used some hardened steel bolts to fasten them to the trailer. I think the trailer will fall apart before these get broken or bent.

Exactly What They Said
Shipped SUPER FAST, well built, good value, and they are exactly like the picture shows. I don't think they would need any extra welding, but I'm going to because of the rough use I expect the trailer to get.
