Love this Semi Permant Hair Dye from Opawz. I used it on my white husky (Just the end of her tail) and it came out great. The color is nice and vibrant. Though it can be messy, it wasnt too bad for me. Just be prepared beforehand. I had everything I needed on the ready. (A large old bath towel, a wet washcloth for cleaning any spills, some nitral gloves, a plastic grocery bag, and a fine tooth comb) I also wore some old clothes just in case things went South. I wrapped my dogs hind quarters with the old towel large enough to wrap around her whole body because I just wanted the end of her tail dyed and nothing else. I wore nitral gloves and just poured about 1/4 cup into the palm of my hand and wiped it on her tail and then used a fine tooth combe to combe it through. I placed a plastic grocery store bag around the end of her tail and just sat there with her on the porch giving her treats and just loving on her. She stayed still for the whole 20 minutes which shocked me, but still I was happy about that. LOL! I rinsed it out with the water hose and towel dried it and off and she went along her merry way. Once it's fully rinsed it will not stain anything else it touches so be mindful to rinse well. I'm definitely going to buy more colors!

4.5/5 stars Recently tried this out on my almost all-white dog and I really love it. It's pretty easy to apply as long as you can get your dog to stay still, and I haven't seen the dye "bleed" after the water runs clear. I think it's so cute and so fun, especially for kids that we run into in public. I did the semi-permanent because I was worried about it staying too long - it says semi-permanent is good for about 6 washes, but I think it comes out a little quicker than that, depending on how much dye you initially add. I've found it really difficult to get a dark purple unless I add a LOT of dye, and most of the time it's coming out lavender/orchid and fading through to pink. Used it a couple of times so far for re-dying and definitely want to try other colors for other seasons. My dog has shown no reactions or issues with the dye.

The product itself works really well. I only left it in half the time recommended and still got a very prominent color. Somehow I got the impression it would last only a couple of washes. But beware, the color will last months. I dyed my dog for Halloween and come New Year’s he is still Pink.

Very easy to use! It will stain your skin 😂, but it’s totally worth it. I only left it on for 10 minutes because my dog was running around, but look at that color! 💜🙂

Works great. How well would also depend on the color of your dog. Don’t expect a very purple finish on certain hair colors. My Goldendoodle is cinnamon color and it turned more pink than purple but we love it and I think he does also.

Has a pink under tone. Even with lighting pups hair still came out pink. Going to add some blue on the next round see if it helps.
