Perfect cat condo.
This came early. Perfect timing before this winter event started. It was easy to assemble and perfect size for my 2 outdoor babies on my carport. They already had a small one story bungalow and a self heating mat. Now they have a condo. Love it. Sturdy and I love the glass window for watching the world. Would purchase another in a heartbeat.

Purrfect for outdoor kitties
I got this in the summer when I was taking care of kittens before they were adopted. The two levels was nice and I like the ability to slide out the floors for cleaning. I usually kept the main side door open because some of them didn’t like the window flaps, but now that I just have a few neighborhood tomcats they don’t mind the flaps at all and often will sit in there and eat the food i set inside. This has been outside for almost a full year in all kinds of weather and has held up incredibly well. the only issue i had in assembly was my own drill use for attaching the roof opening hinges so they have kind of started to be a little loose, but I open it daily to check if food is eaten so i just need to get a longer drill piece to actually work at the angle needed. Instructions were great.

Pleased with purchase
Assembly is easy, took about 30 minutes. Use of a power drill makes it faster. Doesn’t have to be a high powered drill. The ability to open the top is a nice feature to introduce your animal to the habitat. Once the weather started getting cold my cat started using it frequently. Placing an old towel or something they’re used to helps. Ours stays under a covered patio outdoors and it’s held up fine over three months. It would be a tight fit for more than one cat, but two could fit. Ours is a large outdoor only cat so the space is just right for just him. Quality is fine, especially for the cost. Compared a lot of different options and pleased with this option.

Love this cute cat house for my outdoor cats.
We needed a cat house to keep the cats out of the wind and cold during the cold Utah winters. This is awesome. It has space for 2 adult cats, more if the cats are willing to snuggle. What I love: -Looks nice against our back of the house. Does not look out of place or trashy. -2 entrances/exits 3- weather resistant roof etc. Modifications: Since we get down in the freezing temps. Just ideas for others who may need some. I did some additional modifications such as caulking all the major interior cracks to keep cold air out. I also added remnant carpet padding and carpet for added warmth and comfort. ( you should easily be able to purchase carpet and pad remnants at any local carpet supplier. More likely they'd probably just give you two 18x18 inch pieces that are going in the garbage anyway. To top it off I purchased two 18x18 130 degree F cat heating mats on Amazon which work great. The top on has to be folded underneath itself a bit where the access hole is. Also if you add carpet etc. like me, you will notice that the bottom door won't swing open without catching on the carpet. So you can see I left a small gap without carpet and pad. If it doesn't get below freezing then you may not want to add all these modifications, but it works well. Last night it was about 30 degrees and with me modifications I think it stayed around 45 degrees. The cats are out of the wind which is the biggest issue and can comfortably stay inside the house until the sun comes up. Even as is, this is a great cat house! A+

DON'T GET THE INSULATED ONE
This cat house is amazing. Easy to put together and will look pleasant to look at outside your home. However I'm giving it a 3 stars because we got the "insulated" model and while it looks nice and the cats can scratch on it, IT SMELLS TERRIBLE. We left it sit in a small room after building it. The next day I opened it up and the chemical odor is so overpowering. If you add heat it will be worse. Its the adhesive used to adhere the insulated panels. I pulled the pad up and could smell it even worse. I can't just remove them because the glue is stuck to the wood on every surface. I added charcoal pads instead the house over night and an odor absorbing ball by arm and hammer and it didn't help yet. I did notice the odor when I opened the box but figured it was the packaging and that it would disapate if it was on the house as it aired out. I can't imagine it's healthy for cats to smell?? It will need a coat of clear sealer sprayed or painted if you want it out in the elements. It is painted in a VERY thin 1 coat paint. But for the price it's worth it because I had sealer at home already. I had a slight crack in the wood but only on a trim piece. I can live with that. I did add cat nip and wet cat to see if cats would go inside and they did eventually. I have 2 cats, 10 & 12 lbs and they can use it fine. Only one will be using it full-time outside if the odor disapates. I'll update it the seller responds to me. I 💯 recommend getting this house, just not with the insulation panels. Add your own.

Great Design
I have a cat that won’t go inside. She spent the winter in a heated cardboard box on our deck, which wasn’t adequate for warmth and safety. We needed a new shelter for her. After doing some research I decided on this model because of the extra escape hatch and easy roof access and size. It was pretty easy to put together. It took less than 30 minutes. My cat didn’t trust it at first but we put food inside and bungee’d the flap door open because my cat seemed confused as to how to push it open (she has never used a pet door). After that she was comfortable going inside. The only drawback to this model is if your cat is a fatty like mine. She/he may not be able to enter through the second floor door. The platform is too shallow for them to jump on and enter the door, but it’s fine as an exit. My girl also couldn’t figure out those plastic flaps worked so we may remove them. We got the house in the summer but we have cold nights so I’ll be watching to see if my cat sleeps in it. If you want your cat to use this house in the summer, make sure it’s in the shade. Ours got really stuffy and hot inside when placed in the sun. No way a cat will want to be in there. We moved it to a shady corner and that fixed the problem. The house is not super weatherproof, and it’s not insulated at all, so consider that when buying. We plan to use foam insulation around it in the winter and use a heating pad to make it cozy. Two cats could easily hang out in this house, maybe three if they are small.

Looks Like a Quality Cat House
I bought this product for our elderly outdoor cat. It took approximately two hours, taking my time to get it completed. The product looks like it’s going to last for several years but I have one issue. The wood is a little soft, and the paint/sealant doesn’t appear that it will last more than one season. That is why I did not give it five stars. I will follow up after the winter with my review on how it held up in the Appalachian mountains. I like the fact that it has an area where you can put in wiring for a heated bed. That’s a bonus! Some of the instructions were not clear, but if you have experience with putting together furniture, etc. you should be fine. I did not attach the top bracket to the roof, because it seemed weak and not sturdy. You don’t really need it, you can use your shoulder to keep the lid open. What I like best about this product, is that it’s roomy so I can put the cat food and water inside the condo. I also like that is off the ground. I recommend this product. Like I said, I will come back and give a true review on the weatherproofing after winter. UPDATE: 7/25… the concerns about the soft wood have been answered. It’s still doing good! No rotting wood or peeling wood. Our elderly cat has moved indoors, but we keep it outside, as shelter for wandering animals. Updating review to 5 stars.

Good Product
I've had this little house for a bit short of a year now and it's certainly impressed me with its quality. It's stood up to countless Texas thunderstorms and my outdoor cat certainly loves it to escape bad weather, to play and hide, and for shelter from any would-be predator. It does let some rain water inside it in a heavy rain, but in a typical shower it provides a great dry place for your pet to go to. I really like that it's designed for 2 routes to enter/exit from each level (one outside and one inside to go from the top section to the bottom or vice-versa). This design prevents your pet from being chased into a place that he/she could be cornered and trapped with no escape route if the need comes up. Mine has been a great experience, so I'm happy to recommend this pet house above many others for durability, ease of assembly, and good design for safety and shelter.
