Worked perfect. Microwave has been working great

I received an ordered magnetron that did not work and a replacement was quickly delivered by the seller that functions. I had two identical microwaves for which the magnetrons failed after about 4 years and successively replaced both. This was for the second microwave. I had no difficulty with the first. The second one ordered may have been mounted before/returned as it showed evidence of mounting screw abrasions. Looking at the 5 magnetron units encountered, 2 functioning and 3 non-functioning, I found that the measurement of resistance across the terminals (always negative electrode to F and positive to FA) was not as clear an indicator of function as stated by the seller. The difference was much more subtle. Of the 4 carefully examined, each started at about 280 ohms, instantly dropped to about 12 ohms, and over seconds dropped to 0.2 or 0.1 ohms. The functioning ones dropped to 0.1 ohms whereas the bad ones dropped to 0.2 ohms. The rate of conductivity increase appeared similar between the good and bad but was not quantitated. I am left somewhat confounded as to the failures given the subtlety.

It works for my LG microwave .But I am not sure how long it would work?

This was a perfect replacement for my LG inversion magnetron which stopped working. Took me less than10 minutes to swap out the bad part and replace with the new magnetron. Easy repair that anyone can do at home after some YouTube research. Saved me lots of money not having to buy a new microwave.

This part has already been used and is not working now. Do you even check what you sell? I will have to request a refund and order from another place.
