Great set. Wish it came with an end cap or two. But it's all ass expected from a trusted brand. The gates work smoothly and the parts all fit tight, no need for glue.

This is a high quality kit. Very solid, fittings and clamps are thick and fit well. (Way better than PVC pipe)

It was easy to install and I am impressed with how air tight everything is. I am using this with a 16 gal shop vac which I was easily able to attach to one end using the shop vac hose, it fit snugly into the end of the 90 deg elbow with no issues. All of thy wyes fit the blast gates and the provided tubes snugly and I don't notice any real drop in suction through the system. The wyes also fit the powertec flex hose (purchased separately) very well, no real need for screw clamps. The one surprise was the mounting brackets, they are designed to fit over the wyes rather than the tubes, if you use them on the tubes they will support the system but it will be loose. Also make sure to follow the instructions and install the wyes the proper direction for airflow. I'm very happy with this product, it was an inexpensive upgrade to my home shop and has really helped control the dust from my saws and router table, it is a great addition if you want to use a smaller dust collector or a shop vac for this purpose.

This system works well enough, but I was baffled as to why the supplied two-hole straps don't fit the pipe (they're way too large). What does fit is a 2" IPS strap (these come in many shapes and trade names). Price that in. Otherwise, runs great so far.

My layout required running this over a door frame to the other side for the CNC so also bought a few extra straight pieces + elbows and a Y-fitting to cap it all off at the end. As you can see from the schematic I went for a two-stage collection system so also bought the powertec cyclone kit and fitted it to a30 Gallon plastic barrel that came with removable airtight clip release lid. Fitting the Ys and elbows to the straight pieces got easier with few drops of silicone lube and a quarter clockwise turn to get them in place I am so far happy with the purchase.,finally getting control on the dust situation

I purchased this system to reduce the sawdust generated by my bandsaw. I cut down a significant amount of firewood into more appropriate sized sticks for our chiminea and fire pit each day. The mess required cleanup every day. Much to my surprise, the system was even more efficient than I hoped…reducing the cleaning to a weekly general blowing off of the area. The saw itself has remained almost entirely clean. I paired this with a cyclonic type separator and my shop vac. I later added a switch that activates the vacuum when the saw is turned on. Most pleased.

I recently installed a dust collection system in my shop. This set was a great way to get started. Highly recommended!
