Dr.Arthritis Doctor Developed Finger Splint & Doctor Handbook- Padded Finger Splints For Straightening (Black, S/M, 2 Pack)

I have arthritis in both thumbs, one worse than the other. I bought one of these thumb braces quite a few years ago, and it has worked so well, I just bought another for the other hand. The brace is excellent quality, has adjustable velcro straps for the wrist, hand and thumb so you can adjust as needed. The thing I like most is that the brace doesn’t sit too high up in the palm, leaving your fingers completely free for typing, chopping or any other activities. Other braces I’ve tried sit too high and leave fingers restricted, so this was a big plus for me. The brace also comes with a nice booklet about hand and thumb exercises, arthritis care etc. Very thoughtful and a nice touch. This is excellent value for money and comfortable too!

Very good fitting for my hand helps my hand very much

When I first put this on I thought it’s sturdy and supportive. However after about 20 minutes of wearing it the top part started digging into my wrist making friction marks which were very painful. I tried several different levels of tightness but all of them caused the same problem. Other than that the splint supported my thumb well and would have done my wrist also had it not caused me problems. I think the design could do with a bit of tweaking, maybe add some soft material where the wrist part is.

My husband recently purchased a ‘Doctor Arthritis’ compression glove for me to try and relieve the arthritic pain in my left wrist. So successful was it that within days I ordered a second one for my right hand. The compression glove has three Velcro fasteners, one to the thumb, one to the hand palm area and one to the wrist to provide the perfect combination of fastening to give maximum comfort. This is particularly important when using for long periods of time throughout the day. The gloves are light weight but at the same time are sufficiently robust to prevent that unintended hand movement that sends a pain shockwave through your wrist and up your arm. My normal daily household activities were severely handicapped prior to using the Doctor Arthritis support gloves, a simple task like lifting a pan was too painful. Now, whilst I still have to manage my arthritis, these support gloves make my life much easier and less painful. Definitely recommended

A splint was recommended by my physio for de Quervain's Syndrome. As my wrist /hand was taking a long time to heal, I was looking for a splint in pink - why not?! This also turned out to be a really good splint, well constructed with good padding. The velcro was really secure too but didn't catch on clothes which stops spoiling the fabrics. The booklet that came with the splint was helpful and well written. Overall a really decent product, and in pink!!

This is a lovely support and would have been perfect for me, but I’m of petite build and my hands are smaller than this can cater for comfortably. The wrist strap adjusts down to the size I need it to be, as does the thumb strap, but the middle of the three has Velcro at either the middle of the thumb joint or at the other side of the palm. The first causes it to be too loose, and the second causes loss of blood supply! There’s no middle ground across the palm where I need it to sit, as the mesh material doesn’t adhere to to end of the strap and comes off. I may keep it and adapt it by adding some extra Velcro, as the only option given when reaching out is to return it. I feel that there should be a size guide added to the listing, as this would have influenced my decision to purchase. The quality and support are exactly what I would need had the fit been right for me. To make it more universal, there should be a choice to attach the mid strap across the palm area.

Bought both the wrist brace and the thumb splint and have been using both over the past two days to help relieve some wrist pain. Thumb splint to bed, wrist braces while working. Materials are fantastic feeling and seem durable enough for now and, for the moment, feel like they should last quite some time. Velcro stays in place while the material provides just enough stretch to provide a comfortable compression, while being stiff enough to support the wrist. Reading the above, you may wonder why the "almost" in the headline: If I had one complaint about the two Dr. Arthritis wrist braces, it is that they aren't the easiest things to get on. Once they're secured, they feel secure, but it does take a bit of finagling to wrap the brace around the wrist, while the thumb splint takes a little bending to get it situated. It's certainly not impossible, though, and it just takes a little practice, so I won't dock any stars for it. That being said, for their price, they're great. I would highly recommend them!

great brace for thumb stability, love it! Material is really soft for the hand, it's easy to slip hand in and out as the straps open wide but do not come out of the slots, as there is a thicker end. Handy as you can only use one hand when having a thumb injury! the thumb part has two stabilisers, which are strong and nicely support whole thumb for not moving. The support splints are sewn in and do not move. Due to the nice inside padding there is no or very little pressure on your skin (ie pressure sores). You can easily adjust the pressure by loosening the straps more. There is some wrist movement possible but still supports the wrist too. I have thumb tendonitis and found this to be the best brace for me, all others were too rigid. Easily hand washed too. I've bought two am so happy with it.

Die Bandage ist super und lässt sich leicht anbringen, innen ist die Bandage weich. Durch die Klettverschlüsse kann man es so einstellen wie es am besten ist. Leider ist die beiliegende Broschüre nur in Englisch, nicht jeder kann diese Sprache.

Muy buena calidad precio, ayer mismo empecé a usarlas porque necesito para ambas manos y sentí un alivio enorme del dolor. También me ha gustado que a diferencia de otras muñequeras te permite la movilidad de la parte superior del pulgar. Muy cómodas y transpirables. Muy recomendables.
