Monte Carlo CT100 Fan Accessory Wall or Hand-Held Kit for Reversing and Down Light Control, 4-Speed, Non-Reversing (Requires Receiver)

I had a Monte Carlo Mach One 52 inch fan in my house but we never had a remote for it. (Installed by a previous owner). This remote paired perfectly. The only thing you need to do is make sure the receiver pins and remote pins (accessible when you install the battery) are in the same position.

I purchased the Monte Carlo CT100 remote and receiver to be installed in Monte Carlo 4VG42/28TBD-L Villager 42-Inch ceiling fan. CT100 allows us to control fan speed as well as light dimming from hand remote or wall switch. Since both are from Monte Carlo I wish they would make the remote receivers to mount with something other that wire ties, but with that said I was able to make it work without much trouble. Comes with both with and beige covers. I have installed the CT100 on two ceiling fans. One is mounted on a landing with a that use to be controlled with a 3-way switch. I was able to install two remotes, one at the top of the stairs and the other at the bottom. Just remember that if you have other fan remotes in your home you will need to change the codes on remote and receivers so they don't turn on other fans and lights.

The description says combo wall and handheld units, this is not the case. Its either / or. Also the picture shows 2 units, wall and handheld, don't expect its both. they need to change the description to it can be a wall or a handheld.

Much more attractive than alternative ceiling controls and worked great with my existing (non Monte Carlo) fan wireless system. The picture is a bit misleading, I was expecting both a wall unit and a remote but you only get the electronics for one and have to chose which style casing to use.

This is only a remote. It does not come with a receiver. I was tricked. Can you even buy only a receiver? It is like having a TV remote with no TV! The remote is useless without the receiver.

Works great! However I was looking for a wall mount and this is a remote that mounts in a normal wall mount. Only down side is its battery power not house. wonder how long the battery will work.
