Adrianna Papell Womens Floral Beaded Godet Gown

Beautiful dress, very flattering.

This Adrianna Papell dress is so pretty! I purchased a size 10 in the LEAD color, which is sort of a cross between brown, bronze, plum and gray. It does have that “Mother of the Bride” look but it also looks very elegant. The dress is fully lined with a nice long hidden zipper at the back and there is a small baggie of spare sequins provided. It has beautiful lines with tasteful beading and sequin patterns, HOWEVER, I’m going to have to return it.(1) I am 5’4” at 150# and the size 10 fits otherwise, but it is too long on me. Even with 4” heels, it would be dragging.(2) And then there are those shedding sequins! I was very careful in removing the dress from its bag, hanging it up, then gently trying it on. When I finished, all within about 15 minutes, I realized there were sequins scattered all over the carpet. I don’t know if all sequined clothing is expected to shed like this but seems high maintenance to me.

This was a nice looking, well made dress. I did return because I just didn’t care for the way I looked in it. Very form fitting, which would be fine for someone with a different shape, but I have a very straight drop from shoulders to butt (no waist). It just wasn’t flattering on me. Very very long (I’m 5’). If you’re a curvier girl, with bigger boobs, and more height, it would be a knockout!

Loved the style and color of this dress, in rose gold. Sadly when it came it was a brownish rose. A lot more brownish. After carefully trying it on, there was some sequences on my bedroom floor. So I’m not sure how well it will hold up. I returned it. Thank you Amazon for your prime wardrobe, to it try on!”

When I saw this dress I fell in love. I’m the grooms Mother and have learned,after 3boys that you must be sublime, classy and not outdo the brides Mother. I purchased it even tho some of the reviews made me uneasy. When I opened the box I gasped. There it was! Well packaged. With a hanger and plastic wrapping. I carefully removed dress. It was stunning and as In picture Lead is the color I chose and it was right on. The sequins are lovely and when I slipped on the dress on I made sure I shook my dancing fanny. No sequins fell off. It was a perfect fit. I’m 5’4. 123 lbs Size 8. It will need hemming for me for yes length. When I put it on to get husband approval he was floored you would have thought I was the bride to him all over again. Oh yes on this elegant dress/gown

Beautiful dresses, depends on what you need it for. I ordered the blush and the rose gold, but colors are darker than pictured: the blush is actually darker, like a rose color, and the rose gold is darker, more taupe with beading and sequins that are gold and bronze. Fit as expected. Length is better for taller woman, I’m 5’4 and dress pooled on floor, but because of dress style and godets, would ruin look of dress if length was shortened. Dress is also heavy due to the amount of beading and sequins, so wearing all day and night at a wedding would not have been comfortable. I needed it for mother of groom, a little too flashy for that as I didn’t want to take attention away from the bride, and I don’t think the dress would have photographed well in wedding photos with all the sparkle. You can’t see that in online pictures but actual dress is very sparkly. Also a lot of loose sequins, not sure if that’s typical of a dress with a large volume of sequins.

Super pretty and comfortable. Love the color in person way better than the picture. Glad I didn't order the darker one as this one is darker in person and just the color I needed. It does run very long. I am 5'6" and I probably need 5 inches hemmed.

I wore this dress for my wedding in Las Vegas. It was a beautiful choice - very comfortable and flattering. The sizing was perfect. I had to have it taken up because I wore flats but that was easily done.

I do not like when the beads going down and down, but the form of the dress is totally good
