Bluey: Complete Seasons One and Two (DVD)

Bluey is a family favorite. It is relatable for both the kiddos and the parents.

This series is absolutely adorable!! Best series out there right now for kids!

Purchase for my grandson. I think he likes it.

Anyone who tells you this is a "kids" show is half-lying. This is an "everyone" show. It's a show that everyone who was ever a child should have grown up with. It's smart, creative, and emotionally potent. One episode I'm wheeze-laughing at the family struggling to keep a balloon in the air. In another, I'm one second from bawling over Bluey making a friend on a camping trip and not being able to say goodbye, unaware if she will ever see him again. The mom tells her than sometimes special people come into our lives, stay for a bit, and then they have to go. And that while its sad that they have to leave, the good memories are what makes it worth the pain. As someone who's lost multiple friends due to them moving away, it hurts, and Bluey is what I wish I had to go through the tough times.I have no kids. I watch this show by myself most of the time. It's that good. It has many topics that your average kids show wouldn't cover or reference such as death, miscarriage, and infertility. All lightly so that kids either don't notice or get a basic understanding that isn't too deep for them. It represents the kind of parent I want to be. I can't recommend this enough. To anyone at all.

Oh, Bluey—innocent, lighthearted kid's show or an emotional wrecking ball cleverly disguised as a cartoon? Spoiler alert: it’s both. You think you're popping this DVD in for some wholesome entertainment, but what you're really getting is a masterclass in how to sob while driving your minivan.I started watching Bluey with my kids thinking it would be another mind-numbing background show. You know the drill—mom sips her coffee while the kids are entertained by talking dogs. What I didn’t expect was to be sitting in my car later, replaying episodes in my head, tears streaming down my face as I mutter, "How is a cartoon about a blue dog teaching me life lessons?!" One minute you're laughing at Bandit pretending to be a horse, and the next, you’re deep in your feelings about TIME and how it just slips through your fingers. Thanks, Bluey.And don’t get me started on the emotional gut-punch episodes. You'll be driving to the grocery store and suddenly remember Sleepytime—and before you know it, you're pulled over, trying to explain to your kids why "the universe is just so beautiful, you guys."So, if you’re emotionally stable and ready to be reduced to a puddle of parental tears while learning the importance of playing with your kids (and maybe also how to be a better human being), Bluey: Complete Seasons One and Two is the DVD for you. Just make sure you stock up on tissues. Trust me. You'll need them.

The media could not be loaded. I was need DVDs of cartoons my 3 young Daughters like to watch since I really don't gave many and not too long ago we got in a situation where our internet had gone out . We unfortunately wernt able to watch Disney plus or any of the other streaming apps for about three days so we brought out our Blu-ray/DVD player and played some of the older cartoon dvd's we did have like Tom and Jerry Or we watched movies all day. I find it easier to just play the cartoon series than switching out movies constantly. So as I was browsing on Amazon I ran across this great deal of the First two seasons of Bluey for under $25 so I decided to put it on my wish list and keep looking well than I find the third season of Bluey for under $15 ! I really couldn't pass up a great deal like that so I bought all 3 seasons. What really sold me other than the great price was that it says it has the Australian originals so we can see some of the episodes as they were originally intended instead of the watered down version Disney released on Disney plus. I really can't wait to watch them to see the difference! I would definitely recommend buying Bluey if you have kids that love the show or if you are a fan yourself... because you never know when you will be In a situation like I was and you don't have access to streaming fir a few days .

This is a great DVD set. Whenever the (almost 2 years old now) grandkid comes over to visit, we pop Bluey into the Blu-Ray machine and voila! Instant babysitter. :-) No, I'm joking of course, but it does add an additional element to his play time. He'll be playing with any number of toys, then take a break to watch Bluey for a bit, then return back to what he was doing. Having the DVDs playing helps with feeding, too, as it gives him something to watch while eating or drinking his pre-nap bottle. Quality of the DVDs is excellent... excellent picture, excellent sound. Really couldn't be any happier with this set. 103 episodes. Takes multiple visits to get through just one disc.
