The best air purifier I purchased. I bought this item because I live in an ADU and it is attached to the main house and I have to share with the main house ventilation and one night I had to smell weed coming from the main house. So I looked up what is the best purifier on Amazon? And it says PuroAir 130i and so I bought it. Reasonable price. Once I turned it on and use it, it works beautifully. The fan speed is great, when it’s on low noise level, it’s very quiet, it doesn’t wake me up when I’m trying to sleep, and the brightness is just right. I use the app to control the air purifier so I don’t have to worry about it. It’s very easy to set up. I’m very happy with this product. I would 100% recommend buying this item.

I live in a 900 sq ft, 2 bed/1 bath apartment. I keep my cat's litter box in the spare bedroom. After a recent conversation with a fellow cat owner, I decided to get an air purifier to clean the air and eliminate any odor in my apartment. I chose the PuroAir 240 HEPA based on great reviews and that it purifies using both a HEPA filter and carbon. It was easy to set up and I placed it on top of the covered litter box. To my amazement, I realized a few hours later that my nose was no longer stuffed up and I could breathe. The size of this purifier is reasonable, not too small nor too large. Best of all, it is exceptionally quiet. I can't hear it when I enter the room and always have to check to be sure the light is on and it's still operating. This is a durable piece of equipment that has changed my life for the better and I highly recommend it.

The filter seems very good: quiet and capable. It is better than the Whirlpool filters, the last Whirlpool failed after a couple of years. So, I am hopeful that the PuroAir will serve for at least four or five years ... maybe more. These types of filters have been essential when we experience severe smoke from wildfires. The filters seem pricey but I think that they may be more effective. I noted that the carbon filter part should be brushed off ever month even though the HEPA filter lasts 2 to 3 months.

I have one of these air filters on the first floor in a central area and one on the second floor, also in a central area. We live in the country and next door to a farmer. So, we often get a lot of dust when the farmer is harvesting. We also have 14 pet birds, one of which is a Moluccan Cockatoo, that produce a lot of dust. When I dust every 2-3 days, there is always a new layer of dust. My assumption is that this dust is settling from the air. I have had these two air purifiers running on high for a little over 2 weeks, and have noticed no fresh air smell as other reviewers have reported, but have noticed less dust in the air when the sun shines in the front window. When I first set them up, I was surprised the air quality light went immediately to green. Today I checked the filters, after 4 weeks, to see if they collected anything, and they looked as clean and new as the day I started using them. Since I also have a small desktop air filter that collect quite a lot of dust from the air, I am wondering if these air filters are working at all. UPDATE 02/13/2024: I have had these air purifiers running for a month. Considering the amount of dust generated from road dust on a main highway in the country, dust from surrounding farmer's fields, and feather dust from our 14 pet parrots, I don't believe these filters collect much. I have one on the first floor and one one the second floor. On the first floor, the air filter is in the living room that has direct access to the family room where my parrots are out every night for exercise and socializing. We generally get a lot of dust in the family room. Although the living room doesn't get seem to get as dusty and is easy to keep up with a Swiffer Duster, the family room still gets as dusty as ever. When I checked the filter in the living room after a month, there was a light layer of dust that could barely be seen. These filters are supposed to cover 1115 square feet, and our living room is about 300 square feet. Even though the family room is directly connected to the living room with a large arched doorway, I suppose it's possible this filter will cover only one room, and not necessarily the square footage advertised. If this is the case, smaller, less expensive air filters for each room might be more cost effective. UPDATE 04/23/24: We have now had these air filters for over 4 months. They do seem to collect some dust as we have one in the living room and I don't have to dust as often. Personally, I have not noticed any change in the air quality, but that could just be me. As mentioned previously, I have one upstairs near my bedroom door. This one I keep on the auto setting as it usually stays on low. I tried it on the high setting, and even with my bedroom door closed, I can still hear it. I am one that needs silence to sleep, so I keep this one on low. The one in the living room is kept on high in hopes of collecting some of the dust from the family room that is caused by pet birds taken out every evening. One concern I had was the cost of replacement filters. The "genuine" filters cost $75 for 2, but I found compatible filters for $33 on Amazon. In the over 4 months I have had these air filters, the "change filter" light has gone on only once on the unit in the living room. Since it had a coating of only fine dust on it, I vacuumed it to remove the dust. After re-installing this filter and resetting the "change filter" light, it has been working fine. I feel by vacuuming the filters, the life of the filters could be extended to well over 6 months and possibly even a year. This greatly reduces the cost of filter replacement for these air filters. UPDATE 04/12/26: I have had these air filters running 24/7 for about 2 1/2 years. They do help to reduce the dust in the air and reduce dusting requirements, but I don't think they cover 1,000 sq. ft. as advertised. Our living room is 218 sq. ft. It does help to reduce the dust in the air, and it's possible I have been expecting too much from the small air purifier. I am continuing to use it since I believe it helps to clean the air. I hope this review was helpful for you I will update this review if my opinion changes.

I wish I had bought this years ago. The purifier takes little room, quiet, easy to operate, and DOES THE JOB WELL. My spouse is a chain smoker and I have breathing problems. This little machine clears the air of all smoke in our small living room. The smell of the cigarettes is still present while he is smoking. However, it removes the smell when he is not smoking (asleep, out of the house, etc.). I no longer watch television through thick smoke, and I am able to laugh without a full-on asthma attack.

They seem to work well. Runs 24 hours. Like that it has a bedtime setting so is quieter at night.

Great product. Easy to set up and operate. Seems to be doing its job of collecting dust. I have it in my bedroom and I like the “white noise” it gives off.” Very conducive to sleeping. I would like the opportunity to try other fine products this company.

I rarely write reviews so this is how you know it’s good. This device has been running in my room 24/7 for about a month now. There is not a spec of dust in sight!! No allergen or pet hair even gets a chance to settle down. My room air feels fresh and clean. I will literally have this in every house I live in for the rest of time.

Seems to work great. Doesn't take up much room and runs fairly quietly. Easy to use and instructions are easy to understand. Great buy.

Worked well to start with then kept cutting out, contacted suppliers but wouldn’t refund as I am in the UK.contacted Amazon and they refunded me

It takes away smoke smells from my downstairs neighbors, as well as any smell from cooking in no time, I love it, best purchase I have done and wish I'd bought it a long time ago.

The product is lightweight cheap plastic. The company ship to the UK yet the device requires a voltage step-down unit to cope with the 110V rated USA device. Company either dumb or dishonest. Factor in additional £50-100 for device to step down UK 240V. So far not seen source for replacement HEPA filters on Amazon either.

Efficient, and yet quiet, these filters made an immediate difference in the quality air in our house. I would recommend these without hesitation.
