I love the block
I love the block, the letters are a nice and a clear font. But the hammer... it doesn't seem quite heavy enough to leave behind a really good impression. if you have a really good grip on the stamp you can probably get in a second hit, but more often than not it bounces slightly on the second hit and leaves a stuttered/ doubled effect on the impression. Not horrible quality but I would suggest a better hammer at least.

Works, but not great
It works as described, however the plastic container has already cracked, and the metal was covered (soaked) in oil. Works as they said it would, however wish I would have gotten the next step up as far as quality

there is a good amount of grease but it’s not hard to clean ...
Arrived very quickly, so fast that I missed it and had to pick it up from the Post Office! Very well organized kit, there is a good amount of grease but it’s not hard to clean off. I’ve just used this set to make custom pet name tags for friends and family, and it worked perfectly. The hardest part is lining up the letters as you punch them into the name tag. The letters and numbers came out phenomenal, and I had no problem making clear depressions on a copper tag. Great buy, thanks!

So easy to use
I wasn't sure how useful the block of aluminum would be for stamping with, but it is awesome. And the little hammer works well. I am using this set along with a larger set of punches to make garden labels.
