We needed a slightly shorter curtain than what is stocked locally. This curtain was a perfect 65".The package says to rinse the curtain before use to remove the powder that is used to keep the curtain from sticking to itself. It also states that the slight order will dissapate within a few uses.We found no need to rinse the curtain prior to install and we also did not notice any order at all.I like the fact that there are actual weights at the bottom of the curtain rtather than imbedded magnets. The weights work well in our fiberglass tub/shower, the magnets - not so muchThe 8G that we ordered is a nice heavy weight and appears to be durable.

I've always disliked shower curtain liners. As far as I knew, they were all cheap junk that loved to grow mildew, quickly get brittle and with metal grommets that were designed to tear free within weeks.BUT THEN... I discovered the AmazerBath shower curtain liner! And man, did I change my opinion!First- it is THICK! 8G (that's 2 MIL!) This is no cheap, flimsy sheet of junk!Water repellent- for real! The water beads up and runs off like a freshly waxed car! Give it a good shake after your shower and mold and mildew growth is next to impossible.WIDE! The AmazerBath shower curtain liner is wider on both ends than my shower curtain. This means it wraps around the inside of the tub, preventing water from splashing out onto the floor, like all other cheap shower curtains do!HEAVY! It's got some heft, so it doesn't follow you into the shower, or blow in due to temperature differences between the inside and outside of the shower. This means it doesn't fly up and stick to you when you're wet! And the oversized weights at the bottom add even more stability and heft. It won't move until YOU move it!ZERO SMELL! All other shower curtain liners I've had stink of petroleum for days, sometimes weeks after I hung them. The AmazerBath shower curtain liner has zero smell. I really appreciate the lack of stench when trying to get clean!All in all, I can safely state that the 8G AmazerBath shower curtain liner is by far abd away the best shower curtain liner you will ever get for the price. It is an EXCELLENT value!

Can't give a totally solid review as of yet however it is very thick plastic ( my husband joked it looked like a Dexter tarp) lmao. I didnt smell as badly as some plastics shower curtains so that was a bonus. As far as soap scum ect I cannot comment as its in a beautifully clean shower. But so far so good.
