I’ve been using this product for almost 2 years for my horse to get his Prascend. He adores these treats and takes them happily. My other horse gets jealous so I have to give him a little piece too. I buy from Amazon because I need them quickly, and some other suppliers charge extra shipping for the weight. This latest bucket though, was completely stale. I have never had that happen. The little treats can usually be squeezed closed around the pill, or even split in two. But the ones I just received crumble in my hand. I have to really work at getting the treat to stay together around the pill. And there were a couple mornings that my horse hesitated before eating it- first time ever. Looked into returning but cannot. So I guess I will avoid buying something that is important for my horse off Amazon. **edited my review to say that the company is AMAZING. They replaced with perfect, fresh product. They rectify everything, and to make sure you buy from only one seller in particular on Amazon that is authorized to sell their product (begins with a U). I absolutely recommend these treats, they make giving medication SO much easier, and I will continue to buy them and support this company.

Besides a peppermint these are hands(hooves) down my horses favorite treat. Good size, great dupe for that expensive brand, but I even think these are better. More like a tasty cookie than a glob of sticky molasses. Got them on subscribe and I think I’m going to have to change my delivery date because when they run out, I can tell my horses know it!!

If you have trouble getting your horse or pony to take a pill, this will solve your problem. My pony with Cushings will not take her medicine mixed in her feed. I have no idea how she does it but she will eat every piece of feed and the pill will be at the bottom of the bucket, untouched. This completely solved the problem. I told my vet about them and she has told several clients. By all means, by this product if you need to get a pill down your equine.

Several friends use these to medicate their horses. Unfortunately, after buying these, my picky horse won't eat them. But, gave them to a friend and her horse loves them! Make sure your horse likes molasses.

I have bought these treats for a very long time. Have gotten them for Horse supply businesses. Got them from Amazon this time and they were dry and crumbly. Would not hold pill, would just fall apart. I could not send them back because I had them for 3 weeks before I opened the container. I always order them ahead of time so as not to run out. I need them for 2 horses that get pills. Normally they are great and super moist and fresh and I have had no issues in the past.

These are great treats for horses. Excellent for meds.

Love these treats been buying for a couple of years now. My horse loves them and they have a pill pocket for her to take every day. Perfect for pets having chewing issues. They are soft.
