These are great little lights for nighttime videos/photos, but you need two to avoid harsh shadows, even with the diffuser front.

This light is small and lightweight with fairly straightforward controls. It has several connection options along the sides, giving ir some flexibility on how to use it. Both the brightness and temperature are easily adjustable in set increments with the buttons on the back. For the price this generally seems like a good option on the go. Two things of note though is the brightness and the build quality. While it is bright, you definitely are getting what you pay for at this price and size. So know that just how much light you get out of this is limited. Also the build quality is OK at best. It doesn't really feel as sturdy as I'd like for something meant to be so portable. Overall though, it's a pretty decent light in a pinch.

This Neewer light works great as have all the other Neewer LED lights I own. For its size, the light output is excellent. I needed a lightweight light for my build of an Adam Savage flexible workbench light. Highly recommended.

I really love the way this light has so many different settings. I can get an idea of fluorescent lighting, warm, a blue-ish tone, all with different brightness settings. The charge lasts a decent amount of time. I don’t use the flickering settings but they are there! I got myself an Amazon tripod to connect it and it’s my best friend for my content creation.

I’m using this as a light source for digitizing my old slides with my DSLR. Plenty bright and consistent light quality. I haven’t used it as a lighting source for taking regular photos yet, but it might be handy for some semi-macro shots.

Good light

The light works fine until you push the mode button and it starts blinking on and off. After a few on/off cycles, it comes back to normal and works as it should. Still, of the money, its an OK light.

Ho preso questa luce per integrarla alla dotazione della mia reflex, visto che il flash standard nella macchina non mi ha mai soddisfatto, non per la potenza ma per le modalità di utilizzo in quanto io mi trovo sempre a scattare a mano libera visto che spesso e volentieri non posso piazzare il treppiede sia per problemi di spazio e di tempo, e devo essere sincera anche di pigrizia; il flash in dotazione alla macchina richiede troppa stabilità che a mano libera ovviamente è impossibile da avere soprattutto per i lunghi tempi di esposizione richiesti nei luoghi molto bui. Ho risolto con questo, che pre-illumina la scena anche prima dello scatto, si riesce con tranquillità a mettere a fuoco e scattare con molta soddisfazione belle foto, anche con illuminazione ridotta al minimo e in notturna, grazie anche alle varie intensità che possiede questa luce portatile. Infatti può essere regolata non solo nella tipologia di luce (calda, fredda e neutra), ma anche di intensità, rendendola di fatto un ottima dotazione per vari utilizzi, come foto in notturna, tramonto, penombra, oppure dare una leggera illuminazione al soggetto senza correggere le impostazioni della macchina regolando la luce al minimo. Il prezzo, vista anche la qualità del prodotto, lo trovo accettabile e competitivo. Si ricarica con cavetto e possiede anche un utile indicatore del livello della batteria. Il corpo luce possiede un filtro diffusore che si può rimuovere se si necessita di luce pura, o applicare per ottenere un risultato più naturale e soffuso. L'aggancio si applica tranquillamente all'attacco per flash esterni della reflex. Ottima!

Die Lieferung erfolgte schnell und die Videoleuchte kam in unbeschädigter Transportverpackung an. Zur Helligkeit: Wer Wunder von diesem kleinen Begleiter erwartet, zum Beispiel daß er ganze Bühnen ausleuchtet, der hat seine Hausaufgaben nicht gemacht. Für größere Räume ist dieses Leuchtmittel nicht gedacht. Ich nutze sie für das Extra an Licht bei Videokonferenzen und zur Ausleuchtung bei Produkt-, Modell- und Dioramenfotografie. Und da wird es dann spannend. Dank des breiten Spektrums an Lichtstärke und -schärfe ist sie in diesem Mittel- und Nahbereich eine perfekte, preisgünstige Alternative. Zur Leuchtdauer: Bei voller Leistung lieferte sie mir ein klein wenig länger als angegeben benötigtes Licht. Den Dauertest bei 3200k und 10% Leistung brach ich nach 12 Stunden ab - von den vier Ladeanzeige-leds waren noch immer drei zu sehen. Bei voller Leistung und 5600k lieferte sie 2:47h Leuchtleistung, also 2,78h. Dabei wurde sie dann aber auch spürbar warm. Zur Ladedauer: Da stimmt die angegebene Dauer von 2,6 Stunden; meine wollte nach 2:36 Minuten nicht weiter geladen werden. Pro's: Drei zusätzliche Kaltschuhe an der Lampe lassen verschiedene Kombinationen zu. Für mich die interessanteste: Das Zusatzmikrofon hängt durch die Montage auf der Lampe oben nicht mehr im Bild des Camcorders ohne zu Trics und Kniffen greifen zu müssen. Zusätzlich ist der recht günstige Anschaffungspreis ein Grund mehr, für o.a. Einsatzzwecke diese Lampe anzuschaffen. Cons: Eigentlich so keine. Für meine Einsatzzwecke die absolut richtige Wahl. Zum Thema Haltbarkeit kann natürlich nach nur wenigen Tagen Gebrauch noch keine Aussage getroffen werden. Fazit: Anschaffenswert. Ich überlege in der Tat, mir für meine Nikon ebenfalls ein solches Lichtlein zuzulegen um beständiges (und daher ggf. materialermüdendes) Ummontieren zu vermeiden.
