Hartz UltraGuard Flea & Tick Collar for Dogs and Puppies

I purchased the Hartz UltraGuard Flea & Tick Collar for my dog, and it has been very easy to use and convenient. The collar is simple to put on and adjust, and it fits comfortably without bothering my pet. Once applied, it provides continuous protection, which is very helpful compared to monthly treatments that require remembering reapplications. Seems to be working arrived 6/3 and put on same day. On day 3 and dogs seem less itchy. THEY STINK and LEAVE WHITE POWDER BEHIND. Only negative I see so far and for the price I'll deal with it. Paid $4.15 ea X2

If I could give a giant mad face 😡 instead of the 1 star, I would. I bought 2 collars in this size, 1 in larger. I’ve always thought Hartz was a good brand. Have they gone slack or was this a bad batch? The flea collar itself fit great and my chihuahua, golden retriever, and cat (I bought the cat one for her) did not seem to mind having it on. The smaller one that I put on my chihuahua seemed to have a more powerful scent. Let me rephrase that and say “pronounced” scent. It was powerfully strong scented enough to nauseate me, but did absolutely nothing for the fleas. The fleas seemed to multiply while he was wearing this. I had given him the quick use pill prior plus a bath, so the fleas to begin with were minimal! After 2 weeks of combing fleas and eggs out of his fur, I removed it. My golden retriever’s collar seemed to work better. The cat’s..better still. I should add that my dogs rarely go outside and my cat stays outside the most!

I have 3 dogs. After fleas baths, change of beds it is finally subsiding. They have been wearing the collars for over 2 weeks now. One dog has had a severe allergic reaction to the collar, raw, red, scabby skin. The other two have no reaction, but are still scratching. I have used two different types of flea sprays, and a daily flea combing. Not the best.

Absolute bad and non effective product sold in disguised manner. Unfortunately, it is not eligible for return; this is really fooling the buyers.

My dog has had it on for more than 3 weeks - no improvement at all. Don’t waste your money.

My dog used to catch ticks everytime we go on walk. The product is a life changer. I haven’t find or see any ticks on him, it is been a real life saver for our household. My dog is thankful !
