The belt and strap are great! The buckle cinches down with good, grippy teeth and the webbing isnʻt so stiff that it hurts. The handles are all helpful - there are enough to get a grip on something in a rush. It works great in helping me (5ʻ1") to assist my husband (6ʻ6") after a very tough surgery.

Another great purchase for my spinal fusion recovery. This belt fits perfectly due to the adjustable band. For the price you can't best the durability and peace of mind this give for safely moving about. My husband can grab the handles on the back and this item does not put any pressure on my surgical site at all. It's also much more comfortable than the single band PT straps. I highly recommend this item for use with PT and other mobility uses after surgery. It's a must for getting me in and out of the shower. You cannot beat the peace of mind this gives for the price. Outstanding quality and value. We have bought other similar off brand gait belts that had the handle loops break after a few months. These cheap brands also have a plastic buckle that accidently releases or loosens up. This Vive belt is made by a proven medical equipment company. It has a positive tightening metal belt buckle that does not loosen up while you are using the belt. It is wide so that it does not dig into the mid section. This heavy duty belt has held up great after several months of use. No broken loops or frayed nylon belt. My wife s medical people that have seen this gait belt in action have been very impressed!.

This is a fantastic gate belt. I purchased this for our retriever club. We have several members who have problems negotiating the route to the line. The hand holds are strategically placed for lifting and guiding in our hunting scenarios.. A real game changer for older members.

Purchased the vice gait belt for my mom who needs help with transfers. It provides great and study handles to make it easier on my gripping abd the extra width puts less pressure on her body. I like there’s a little elastic to tick the tail of the belt in also. The fabric doesn’t catch on her nightgown when I’m putting it on or sliding from behind her back after she’s in her wheelchair. Teeth grip the belt securely. Great product!

I would give this a five star review for the way it’s built and the belts and everything but the claw mouth metal that it feeds through does not hold it. It’s constantly slipping. Which is very dangerous for trying to get my 101 year-old mom up and move her around. I’m a nurse. I know how to use a gate belt and it’s the same type of a strap. We had a saying that you chew your food before you swallow. You always put it through the teeth style metal first pull back tight and then you strap it through the other side of the opening. But it’s constantly slipping every time I go to stand my mom up. I’m about ready to return it. I’m looking for another brand.
