Nice quality - BUT.
I just received the dial indicator. But the inner part of the plastic box was broken and ALL the various tips were inside the broken part. Somehow they came out of a closed plastic parts box (with the lid closed) into the main broken box. The reason the box was broken was obvious. The magnetic weight is very heavy and with the usual throwing around by the carriers - it busted through the very thin plastic. I will have to enlarge the hole to get all the tips out. The reason I bought this particular brand was I wanted a carrying case. The dial its self if fine for the money.

Case damaged inside
Outside packing looked good. Inside looked the hockey was played with it. Broken plastic case in 3 places. Returned because the hard plastic made me wonder if the icator was any good

Everything you need in a dial indicator.
Just as described and super easy to use. I was able to fully rebuild my 1st rear end using this dial indicator along with some other precision tools. Having the right tool for the job is worth its weight in gold my friends. Strong magnet and fully adjustable arms allowed myme to place the dial exactly where I needed it. The entire kit seems well built and the extra tips included are very useful and I swapped on the one that came on the dial. The daily itself is very sensitive and accurate. I highly recommend this little kit.

Great, just great.
Everything I could have asked for. I needed in to align the table on my table saw and it did that with no problem. I'm sure I'll find many other things to do with it. I couldn't find my other dial indicator, so I needed this one. Good price, good service, good deal. I'm very happy.

Nice tool, but no instructions
Seems okay though I have not used it yet. It would have been nice to have instructions included.

Not as displayed on the product page. I was disappointed
Like many other people that bought this, (see the reviews) I was disappointed with the quality. The hard plastic case was broken on the inside , the cheep plastic case that holds the extension points was broken and all of the extensions were rolling around in the larger (broken) case. I am a woodworker and wanted to use this to aid in the setup of my milling tool knives. And for that purpose it will work, however the extension points are almost to small for that purpose. I will keep this item, but would not recommend it to anyone,
