Zignature Venison Limited Ingredient Formula Dry Dog Food 12.5lb

Our dog has stomach issues with certain dog foods/proteins, and this has been amazing for him. No issues and he seems love it.

Great food!! Dogs love it but had to change to a prescription food.

This dog food is a godsend. After trying many venison dog foods in the market - this is the only food that my allergy-prone shiba inu can eat. My dog is allergic to every protein source except venison, and most venison limited ingredient diets are not single-protein. The ingredient list for the other venison foods will contain fish oil, chicken broth, or some other protein in a very small percentage - enough to set off an allergic reaction for sensitive dogs like mine. This food has made a huge difference for my dog - his coat is healthy and shiny, and he finally put on weight. We were on the Royal Canin Prescription Venison diet earlier, and not only was it more expensive (since you have to feed 2x as much compared to this), but my dog wasn't able to get enough nutrients to gain weight. I also want to emphasize how much I support a manufacturer like Zignature in the production of this single ingredient venison dog food. Deer is hard to source in North America because many of the North American deer have prion disease, so most dog food manufacturers (like Royal Canin) have discontinued their venison line entirely. Zignature sources their deer from New Zealand, and actually follows market forces - they raise their price on the dog food when the supply of deer is limited - instead of stopping production entirely. They understand that for many of their customers, there is no alternative, and we rely on them to keep our best friends healthy. If you have a dog with allergies, you should definitely give this food a try. The ingredients are great and my dog loves it!

We have three, yes three cockipoos. They are now 14+ years old. They eat and eat, and did I forget to say they eat this Zignature Venison Limited Ingredient Formula Dry Dog Food for most of their lives. One reason is they have an allergy to chicken. Some other dog foods have, in the small print, chicken and chicken by products. Second reason is other dog foods have venison BUT the venison comes after other ingredients, especially potatoes. Watt more kan eye say being a senior citizen miself.

When Covid became a clear problem with shipping, I desperately needed to stock up Zignature Venison formula for my dog Goose. He has terrible food allergies and after trying dozens of brands testing his diet, this is the only formula which works for him. He rarely itches and scratches now. I highly recommend for small part poodle/ part terrier mixes like Goose. I decided to put down 80 bucks to get a huge bag of his food in case there was a shortage from Just Jaks. I was running low and shipping was taking longer then promised - much longer. I desperately reached out to the seller to see if there was any way to get the food sooner. The guys at Just Jaks went above and beyond to help me get the food and even offered to send Goose treats. So sweet. I'll def. buy from them again. Recommend!

my dogs love this and it is the only venison product that is still available. Wish it was a bit less expensive. that's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

My boy has tried every flavor except 2. This is by far his favorite and he seems to have better poops (I'm assuming the red meat is agreeing with his tummy). I wish it wasn't the most expensive flavor but it's the question of quality over quantity. Would recommend.
