Every one should have one of these !!! Maintain your ac pipes clean and empty of crap that will back up your system . Since I bought this no more issues with water backing up and shutting system down !!!! I use it every couple of months, takes 5 to 10 min and worry free !!!

Fit like a glove (fits into a 1” opening, usual size opening for 3/4” PVC pipe coupler). The clear visual inspection tube really helps to know if you are done or if the wet vac had even started sucking any water. My clog was so bad the wet vac didn’t start sucking any water/debris until I snaked the pipe first. Very well constructed. Should last a long time. Helped clear my ac drain line very easily. Will be doing it at least twice a year now.

This is a great investment. No issues with the attachment, and it fit perfectly. Saves a lot of money, especially when the drain line is clogged in the middle of the night. The clear window is helpful and you can see the nasty gunk coming out.

This thing was a total lifesaver! I’ve had gross stuff coming out of my drain line for ages and about 6 months ago my unit stopped working due to a drainage issue. The repairman charged me 180 to clear it using some type of pressured air that basically blew enough crap out to get it working for a little longer until my fan went out a month ago and cost almost $1000 in service and parts to repair, only for it to stop working AGAIN due to the drain pipe being completely clogged, triggering the sensor and leaking water and creating a big mess. After reading the reviews on this attachment I ordered it hoping to avoid another costly repair and IT WORKED LIKE A CHARM. I did not need to buy a coupling adapter, whatever that is, and thank God bc I know nothing about plumbing and only know what I know about HVAC from the problems I’ve had with my unit. I attached this adapter to my wet vac hose - super snug fit - and directly to the drain line outside and it pulled out all the water and crap that was clogging my line in under 5 minutes. The water was disgusting and you could see everything through the clear tube, I just let it run until nothing was coming out anymore. I’ll follow-up with pouring some water and vinegar through from the top but for now the unit is running perfectly and where there was over an inch of water in the sensor area is totally bone dry as is the pan below my unit. I am not big on writing reviews but I felt it is literally an obligation to tell others in this predicament to absolutely purchase this attachment! I’m a single mom with no family in the area and for my son and I to resolve this issue on our own feels like such a major win plus now he knows a little something about the system going forward. This saved me $155 and I couldn’t be happier. Gratitude to the maker and seller of this product, it’s genius!

To be fair, a zealous housecleaner threw away the instructions that came with this unit, but I think I'm doing it right, because it works. The idea is to connect to the outdoor air conditioner condensate line and then hook up a shop vac to clear the line. I went through a whole adventure with this when the HVAC repairman gave me the tip that this would save on paying to unclog our lines (yes, I use line cleaner and vinegar/hot water, but Florida summers are relentlessly humid). The HVAC guy put a handy downward spout on the end of our outside line, and this adapter connected firmly to it right away. The Milwaukee cordless shop vac I just bought however, will not lock on perfectly to the other end. But I was able to hold it in place well enough that it worked and cleared the line. I know it worked, both because the drip tray under the air handler in the garage stopped leaking, and because this adapter has a VERY HELPFUL clear section that lets you see what you're sucking out of your a/c. Saw plenty of organic gunk, followed by the backed up condensate, then only drips and drops of water, which told me the job was done. Tip: I have seen that using duct tape to firmly attach the end of the shop vac helps to form a seal, and this is probably a good idea. I didn't want to bother though, and holding the shop vac in place worked just fine. Four home hacking stars.

I'm a single mom, and recently, my AC smelled like dirty socks. I had an HVAC guy come out, and he told me everything was fine. Spoiler alert: it wasn't. I hooked it up to my shop vac, and within seconds, it pulled out a bunch of buildup for the drain line. My AC started working normally again almost right away. Highly recommend!
