IBC Tote Cover for 275 Gallon Water Tank, 420D Waterproof, Zipper, Black

Fits my 275 gallon tank perfectly. Zippered side allows easy access to the valve. I use my tank for rainwater storage and connect a hose each time I use the tank, so quick access was important. Top flap for accessing the cap is held with Velcro and it is holding up very well. all sides have straps to tie-off to the frame to keep cover in place. We've had some pretty strong winds and the cover stays fixed in place!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I used this for my water collection storage tanks for the garden, 250 gallon tanks. I ordered 3 of these. They have been holding up well through several storms. There is a zipper on the front where I can easily see how full the tank is. There is an opening in the top where you can put in a pipe or hose when you are collecting water or checking the water. There a draw string where you can make it secure to the tank. The price was good and the quality of the material is good. I think it we’ll hold up for a few years!

This has held up for about a year now. It has kept algea growth under control. It has helped keep water cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. It now has a rip in it from Oklahoma winds, but still holding up well enough that I don't plan to replace it as of yet. Zipper still works great. The velcro at the top is great. Also, it is a perfect fit. The material was thinner than I expected it to be. Color has not faded.

I opened up the zippered bag the tote cover came in. I unfolded the cover and unzipped it, covered the tote easily/quickly and zipped it back up. The top has access to the tote's filling cap via a velcroed square 'hatch'. My tote is indoors, but exposed to some sun, so I bought this to keep algae from growing and any dust/dirt off the tote. I can't speak to durability, but it seems well made in layers. A foil material under the black outer material. It also has straps on the bottom which can be attached to the tote's cage. I won't be using these straps since it won't be exposed to wind. IF you install this outside during a windy day, you will most likely have problems, but that is common sense. All in all, I like it. Not sure why it comes in a nice little zippered bag because I won't be removing it from the tote, and I don't think I could fold it up that small to fit in the bag anyway if I was to try. I will repurpose the polyester bag for something else.

Not durable at all. We bought 3 of these for our IBC water totes. I carefully put all three on and secured them from the bottom. For 3 months they have been at the west side of our house where they get shade in the morning, sun during the afternoon and from 5 pm on they get shade from the neighbors trees. So after 3 months we were ready to set up our totes. We needed to fix the bottom of the frame of one of them, so I detached the cover from the bottom and carefully start to lift it off but it easily tore on the top as you can see in the photos. Nothing poked it to cause a tear. These are described as durable and this is not the case. Of course the window of return has already closed. I am so bummed about this because I thought I had purchased a great reliable product. The other two seem okay so far but I don’t trust them. Also all three are hard to zip and unzip the front opening.

I got this so I could keep the light off of the water to prevent algae growth and it does that well and there's a nice zipper and it is thick enough fabric to do the job
