Energizer Hybrid Power Rechargeable LED Flashlight, 1000 Lumen, IPX4 Water Resistant, Aircraft Grade Aluminum Tactical LED Light, Great Emergency Light, USB Charging Cable Included

Every few years I upgrade my flashlights, and this was the year. (New bulbs/LEDs and better batteries are usually the reason. Technology is always changing.) For the money, I've not seen another flashlight that beats this one. Very bright (1K Lumens? I doubt it, but good enough.), compact, and able to use the included rechargeable battery or regular AAAs with the adapter. This one goes into my emergency pack for my car, so aside from some basic testing I don't know how well it will hold up. I do know I've bought several Energizer flashlights and have been happy with them so far. After it gets enough use to give ratings for battery life and durability, I'll try and update this review. Right now, I have no hesitation in recommending this one.

Good, solid flashlight.

I really wish Amazon would go back to ‘half stars’ as this would be a 4.5 star flashlight for sure. The beam is super-bright and the tail switch works great. The flashlight is very well built and robust. It’s rechargeable and the battery life is great. I use this light nearly nightly and only find I need to recharge every two-weeks or so, with moderate use. The charging port is well-sealed and charging time from dead to charged is under an hour. The only minuses for me, is lack of a focusable beam and a pocket clip would be nice. It’s really though, the lack of a focusable beam that forces me to give this otherwise excellent light four-stars.

I got this for my dad as part of his Christmas gift and he was thrilled with it being a rechargeable, but was even more happy with how bright this little thing can get as our other flashlights were not very reliable.

Flashlight is VERY bright, overall great construction, and I liked the dual power option (3-AAA batteries or rechargeable battery). Flashlight does get hot when using in max bright mode (1000 lumens). I really wanted to love this flashlight, but within 30 days of ownership and using it 2 times a week for a month and recharging it maybe 3-5 times, the inner USB charging port broke off (see pic)! I wasn't even pressing that hard to connect the charging cable. The worst thing is that the flashlight was just outside the 30 day Amazon return window, so I contacted Energizer via their website/customer service. I got a quick reply, but not the answer I was expecting..."this flashlight is not under warranty". Wow, I am quite surprised that a large company like Energizer and all the stuff they make would not stand behind their product with a warranty! I understand that it costs only $20, but seriously, I would expect it to last more than 3-5 charging cycles. Hopefully, I'll hear something back from Energizer soon, and if so will update this review.

This is a very nice light. It shines bright and charges well. It arrived on time and very well packaged.

This little flashlight is amazing! 1000 lumens reaches out far when you are outside at night looking for your wayward dog whom is playing hide and seek. I will definitely, buy another one soon. it also arrived quickly. Never been disappointed with an Energizer product.

I wish the charger was USB-C, so it was more standardized. Otherwise, no complaints.
