We love it!
This is the second Farenheat heater that we have purchased and we love them both. The first one was installed in an outdoor building where I have an art studio. It heats the room very nicely. It is 4 degrees this morning, and keeps the room nice and comfortable. We just installed the second one in our bedroom which is located in an addition in our home which stays cold due to the furnace not forcing enough warm air back to that area. We love it there too. Sure it has a fan noise but it is not at all annoying and we sleep right through it (it beats the cold, sometimes it was 45 degrees in my bedroom in this weather!). Also, it makes sense that the heater should heat up before the fan forces the nice warm comfortable air out. Exactly what the instructions say it should do! The only issue we had was we had to send one heater back, ordered it straight from Amazon and they ship it in it's original packing. The heater was very badly damaged by the time it arrived here. It was replaced but the replacement also had some dings and bends, some which my husband could somewhat fix but it is not cosmetically perfect. With cold weather here and a remodeling project underway we needed to get it installed. The packing within the box was not enough to get it safely through shipping without damages. I left negative reviews for packaging through Amazon. BUT overall we love this heaters!

Fantastic heater!
This heater works great and doesn't take up any space in your shop area. I use it in an attached 20 foot by 20 foot garage that doesn't have insulation in the ceiling or exterior walls. It heats the area up as hot as you want it. It stays around 40 degrees in the winter and takes about 30 minutes to bring it up to 60 degrees. It takes a 240 volt, 30 amp circuit which most garages don't have so make sure you have the available power or are willing to hire someone to put it in place. VERY pleased with my purchase.

Holds temperature well
Mounting was easy enough, but I'd have some type of gasket material on hand before installation. The sheet metal housing isn't very well supported and tended to 'buzz' against the wall. I removed the unit and put some adhesive backed foam around the perimeter and reinstalled. Not a big deal, just a caveat before you get started. Unit holds temperature within 3 degrees regardless of ambient variation. It's pretty quiet and overall worth the money. One nice feature is that by simply detaching a jumper wire, it can run at 2000 watts. There was one connection (bayonet type plug) that was loose at the built-in breaker and had to be squeezed with pliers.

Donโt let the fan hit the grill. Drop in replacement for Berko discontinued wall heater.
So my review is a little skewed because I bought a โusedโ item. The wall box was brand new but the grill was bent some and had some scratches I also noticed some denting or marks on the back of the motor. Iโm not sure if this was just shipped poorly after being returned without being properly repacked but thatโs what it looked like. I was looking to replace a 4800 watt berko unit that the fan went bad on. This unit was a direct replacement for the Berko wall heater I had so I didnโt even need the wall box as it fit right into the existing one. So since I already had the box mounted installation was quick. When I turned it on however it seemed fine but when I shut it off it began making a terrible sound. ( the motor shaft had some play and retracted when turned on but extended slightly when turned off due to centrifugal force.) I ran to shut off the breaker thinking some wires had caught in the fan some how. But when I removed the cover I didnโt see any. So I quickly realized after starting it with the cover off that what the fan was hitting was in fact the grill cover that had been bent in shipping. I pushed on the fan bracket a bit and bent the grill some and just didnโt tighten it as much to the wall and it works just fine. I looked for replacement parts for my old one and this was cheaper then buying replacement parts even if it was a used slightly banged up version. All that out of the way even thought itโs not the quietest form of heat it certainly heats up my ~700 sq foot basement room very well and I often find it getting so warm I have to turn it down or off all together. It really makes the basement area a cozy place to enjoy even in the coldest winters. It requires a dedicated circuit which I already had so you may need an electrician to install it properly at 240volts. But since I was replacing an existing one that was higher wattage this worked perfectly for me and I am an electrician so that helps. If I were going to install a new one I might look for one with some digital controls with additional temp control features and one that is a bit quieter but for what Iโm using this for on the occasional chilly nights I want to hang out in the cold basement it has been great.

Heats well but loud
Makes good heat, but very loud and much larger that most other units of comparable heat output. I would recommend looking at other units as they are probably a better choice, but overall it works well and does what it should.

Bad Ones
3 years - 5 of 4 no longer working. Noisy, consume lots of power and not enough heat.

Fonctionne bien aprรจs avoir rรฉussis ร lโinstaller.
Utilisรฉ pour mon garage double. Fonctionne bien.

Great heater, but packed like trash
The unit itself is as advertised, good heat output and relatively straightforward install. The front cover was shipped in the box without any protection against the frame of the heater and so arrived dented and scratched. Given there are no others available I just installed it as is, and it looks kind of ugly. If the cover was shipped properly this would be a 5-star.

4000 watt/240 volts can be modified to 2000 watt/240 volts
It is a quality heater with good heating filament. But unfortunately mine came damaged with fan blades bent. Because of that it vibrates making it loud. I will be getting another one, hopefully it will come intact.
