Cars, 1:64 Scale Toy Cars, Buses and Trucks for Kids and Collectors, Set of 20, Styles May Vary

What a delight to essentially receive a mystery bx of quality Matchbox 1/64. Very pleasantly surprised by the selection and variety, tremendous value for money.

Ordered this for my boys for their Christmas gift. We got a terrific selection of cars, including fun vehicles like an ATV, a trailer, a trash truck, an army truck, am earth movers, etc. in addition to typical cars and trucks. They are going to love this assortment! :) Edit: it's 2 years since I wrote my original review. I now have 3 boys and cars lost all over my house - in drawers, under furniture, in the backyard garden, etc. - and probably also left under church pews, hidden in van seats, and in pediatric offices. So, here I am ordering more of these cars! My kids play with these all day, every day and I love watching their imaginations take off with these cars the same way mine did years ago when I was a child.

Our grandson kept wanting to play with my husband’s collection of little cars - he’s two and a half and he’s rough on things ( grandson not the husband heh heh) So we bought him this set for his next visit. He was so happy to have his own cars including a helicopter and fire truck! They are well made and were perfect for him. He played for hours with them and I bought him a set to take home with him and they are still his favorite toys along with the matchbox car wash. I wasn’t sure at under 3 years old he would like them this much but he is very excited about them and uses them every chance he gets

I had seen the box people had gotten in previous reviews/videos (the one with the Silver VW Golf on the cover) and decided that I really liked it for the discounted $15 USD that it was on sale for, but it turns out that one has been phased out and replaced with a newer version (Blue McLaren 720S on the cover). I'd say the mix of cars is even better quality than the previous pack (only 3 non-licensed among the 20!), however if you're like me who owns some singles and 5-Packs released earlier in 2024, this specific pack has a number of duplicates from those. I'd have personally rather gotten the older pack(s) or the ability to pick out and buy 1 set of each, but still it's a good value for anything under say $18 USD (MSRP of 20 individually carded ones would be $23.60, and similar for 5-packs). It shipped sealed and mint condition, inside of a sealed and very hefty cardboard warehouse box from Mattel.

Our little ones loves playing with these cars. They keep him busy for long stretches of time. The car variety is fun. In our 20 pack we have cars, trucks, emergency vehicles, ice cream trucks, and city sweepers. The cars are made well and sturdy enough to hold up to wear and tear from a two-year-old.

Something for everyone is what I would describe this package. My pictures probably speak for themselves: Pic 1. What I received 2. 3 of the "heavy" vehicles from the package. 3 & 4. My collection of cars with some of what I got included in. Having read a few horror stories on the reviews here about how people got duplicates and sets they did not like, I think I've gotten lucky already. Though the temptation to order another set is there I don't think I will be doing so. There are modern cars and old cars, heavy industrial vehicles as well. That's why I said this set has something for everyone. My son's of nearly two years eyes lit up when he saw the set. I've taken out a few cars as well to add to my collection; I don't think he'd noticed a difference. Hahaha. What I really love about Matchbox cars - which I think are only one step in terms of detailing below Majorette is that the wheels roll extremely smoothly much better than any other brand out there and they are great for racing down our house corridor. Also, Matchbox uses real ACTUAL cars and the year and model of car is written below each car. Much better than Hot Wheels who's fictitious cars bear no resemblance to anything actually made on this Earth.

We love this set. It has classic cars, modern cars and some trucks. Some cars came with scratches right out of the box (window, see pictures). Due to bad assembly process at the factory. But in general, nice details and the price for what you get (look at the back of the car). The cars will be destroyed anyway within few years. In generall modern Matchbox cars have a very weak wheel shaft. So after the pressure to the floor of my 2y old the wheels stop turning well. We don't have this with cars from Siku. Also, the chrome from the wheels is very thin and fades after few weeks.

You can never go wrong choosing these as a gift for a little boy. My grandaughters enjoy playing with them as well. These are great quality well made cars and you get a really nice selection of them.
