Perfect Hummingbird Feeder, Why ???
This is an amazing feeder and there is not another one similar in style, appearance or quality and why do I say this? First of all the Glass is very appealing and we all have seen feeders with a similar glass but not a fluted top which is unique. The Glass is really thick and I have had some where they shattered after a critter decided to be Tarzan. Even if this one fell, I doubt very much it would break unless it fell from really high up. The Feeder comes with it's own hook which is nice because while not that expensive because of shipping costs, you will need to buy a package of them otherwise. The Hummingbird feeder holds a lot of sugar water at 1 per 3 parts water, no food coloring. The bottom which others tend to rust, leak or hurt the hummer's bill or beak. This base has it covered. It is made of a hard plastic bottom, the top portion that doesn't usually get the sugar water has a clear coat over metal. I'm not positive what the metal is made of, but there is a coating on the metal and the sugar water tends to stay in the bottom portion anyway. So no rust. Then the base has groves and a rubber seal around it so no leaks. The Floret sare metal and attached to metal and going no where. There is a small gold circle that goes straight through for the beak that reminds me of a really tiny nut that is round with no sharp edges. That portion is where the beak goes through to drink and has no sharp edges to tear the beak. There are rests for the little fella on each floret. I have scrutinized everything that could go wrong and I don't see it being any kind of a problem. It washes and dries well and I would wash it by hand. It's costs are similar to others, but this may well be your favorite feeder and I'm sure if this is the case, you will be happy you took extra care with it. It also comes with a little brush for cleaning those hard to reach places on the feeder, but likely isn't necessary, that you could use for something else. There is always room for a cleaning brush. The opening of the bottle is really thick showing you the quality again and is very well made so it won't strip at any point,, unless the plastic itself does. I took the chance buying and I'm as picky as they get. I highly recommend this feeder.

Beautiful & Functional
Hummingbirds love it! The color is so pretty! It’s a piece of quality art in our yard! We used it all summer. The size was perfect. We change the homemade food every few days when it is hot and it is easy to take apart, clean and fill. We have one that is similar to this one but we spent twice as much so this is a great value for the money you spend. We might be purchasing more next spring.

Birds love it!
These hummingbird feeders are awesome. The colors are vibrant, and the birds love it. This is the second one I have purchased. I had to buy one form my Mom and she LOVES it. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful and hummers love it
We purchased two of these and they are just beautiful and so well made. I like that the bottom half of the base is plastic with the nice silicone removable gasket, and the top half of the base is metal. The ports are nicely made and smooth on the inside for delicate little tongues. The glass is so pretty and has a larger mouth I can fit a bottle brush in for cleaning. The built in moat is nice too. I fill it and use an additional small ant moat because sometimes our little finches will come along and drink the water. The hummers love these feeders, they are always busy and with four ports and perches they can sit a spell and enjoy. We even had an adventurous butterfly who was very persistent but unpopular with the regulars. Our crew is almost gone for the year but these will be back out in spring and we will enjoy looking at these works of art for years to come.

Beautiful Art AND Well Made
This feeder is so much more beautiful than the picture shows. The glass is thick and the bottom secures to the top very snugly. The flare at the top is very big and sits securely while filling with syrup. My little fellows went for it as soon as I hung it. The ports are well made and made to keep insects out. The built in mote (flare at top) is bigger than average and the flare design invites hummers to also use it for their drinking water. Effecient, yet the prettiest feeder I've ever seen. It's like beautiful art on your back deck or where ever you hang it!

Waiting till spring
I bought it as a gift and it is winter here so of course I can't rate it. The main reason I bought it was it was stated that it was blown glass. But after looking at it it two seams on it. Hopefully the paint will not peal off.

Great performance for this hummingbird season
In the past I had used plastic feeders on the window, but this year I got two of these and two more multi-port saucer plastic feeders. I did get more hummingbirds than usual though never more than three at a time, but the birds really seemed to greatly prefer these glass feeders. They are easy to clean and the flared top makes grasping on to it to prevent dropping it easy as well. The top serves as an ant moat, but occasionally I still got ants if it wasn't filled to the maximum. It's really quite pretty to look at too.I never had any problem with leakage or dripping. Resting it on the flared top stands it upright for easy filling, and I did get a bottle brush to clean each time with some vinegar water and did not have any mildew problems with this product.
